Canada has a bad case of treating politics like a hockey game. I just want less corruption, low taxes, public safety, high trust communities, personal freedoms & prosperity… Provide that, and I don’t care which “team” wins.

Canada doesn’t elect Prime Ministers: we elect MPs who form government. That’s the system under Constitution Act, 1867. Calling a majority government a ‘dictatorship’ doesn’t expose corruption, it exposes that you skipped the chapter on how your own country works. 🇨🇦

@CateSask Using your justification & understanding, parties wouldnt need to exist. Voting for mps wouldnt determine a PM. If MPs individually can then select our PM, the PM wasnt elected. An unelected PM is not a champion of democracy. Steelmanning a system when used to undermine voters.
