@Evautoalex @realismtold To omit knowledge that you had from the auction, and not pass it onto your buyer is considered to be non-disclosure of a material fact. If I was you, I would remove this post entirely. I would be more afraid of the legal fees in the car.

@Evautoalex @BELSER01 @BrooklynBoyB Why would you not tell your customer? They are going to subpoena the other Dealer for their records and ask them what knowledge they have of the damage. Legal fees will be more than the car is worth.

@BELSER01 @BrooklynBoyB Yeah that’s untrue. We paid top dollar. Car showed nothing in inspection. Still shows nothing a year later. Car drives and looks great. We worked it out but I would never keep something from a customer. Never.

@VCHesBack @Evautoalex The auction discloses this on the board and most cases, this is because the selling party/other dealer does not want the buying Dealer to come after them for the damage.

@JrCue @Evautoalex Agreed. The Dealer will most likely lose this depending on the state he is in. He is a sophisticated buyer selling to an unsophisticated consumer.

@Evautoalex If the dealer gets sued, he will lose. His insurance will pay that claim all day.

@Evautoalex Lawyer can definitely take this one if you failed to disclose damage that was made public to you through the auction. This vehicle probably ran as a red light or a caution light. Always disclose the note to buyers…

@jonbrooks Houses last about 3-4 days in my area. Neighbor sold theirs in 1 day last month. On top of that prices are up 80% over the last 5 years. There’s still demand

Mortgage demand is now WORSE than the Great Financial Crisis. Read that again. Worse than 2008. Yet sellers are still pricing homes like it’s 2021 with 3% rates. The math stopped mathing.

Why do HVAC companies charge a builder $5,500 to install one AC conditioner unit of 5 tons but when a home owner calls the same company to install the same AC unit the company charges $10,000 to the home owner?

@therealbkd @dig_deeper1 Yeah, never happened. Contractors give discounts but not on the first job you’re going to have to earn that discount by doing five or six ACs first. Otherwise, everybody would suddenly own 25 rentals.

@jonbrooks After the rate gets cut by a quarter of a percent, sales numbers are going to be humongous. The smart agents will continue to keep their licenses active and pay the NAR ALL dues, it’s the only logical thing to do.

@BigBearBummers Factor in a 30k cost demolish that shower and maybe more depending on the mold damage. Multiply by 4 showers is they were all installed by the same person. There is another $120,000 expense…

If you were mentally deficient enough to pay their demand from two months ago, you'd already be $150,000 underwater. Just like that. Most asking prices are made up bullshit – Priced to Payoff, Valued to Vanity or just a number that "sounds about right" in some Boomer's head.
