The US blockade aims to do two things: (i) give Iran a taste of its own medicine for blockading the Strait of Hormuz; (ii) send Iran’s economy into a tailspin and thereby bring the regime to the negotiating table in good faith. It’s doing both. wsj.com/world/middle-e…

Most people have no idea how much Democrats have screwed over Republicans with their gerrymandered districts On the left are the results from New Jersey's 2025 gubernatorial election by precinct On the right are the same results by congressional district How is this allowed?

Want to talk gerrymandering? On the left is how Illinois voters voted in the 2024 Presidential election by precinct On the right is the same election, broken down by congressional district Kamala Harris ended up getting all 19 of Illinois's electoral votes 🤡

Let me add context here: Palestinians are afraid of each other. To be seen with an Israeli in a picture is the greatest sin imaginable. You will be disowned. Even if the Israeli delegate is actually another Arab. Palestinians are willing to embrace a former porn star who degraded Islam (Mia Khalifa) or an actual rapist (Andrew Tate) than be seen in a picture with an Israeli. It’s time for self reflection.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino’s attempt to secure Israel-Palestine handshake backfired The Palestinian FA president refused to stand alongside the Israel FA vice-president for staged photo op in an awkward moment at the 76th Fifa congress 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@nimatode @EYakoby Fake. There was never a place called Palestine for Arabs. IT WAS ALWAYS PALESTINE (א"י) means the land of Israel.

This guy states this is real footage of him on a flight going past Mt. Everest, and hikers are visible at nearly the same level... I find this hard to believe, but is it possible?

@sleeepysandy Israel shouldn’t exist because its existence is premised on ethnically cleansing the majority of the indigenous Palestinian population and never letting them return. It is a fraudulent state premised on permanent war and dispossession. Netanyahu is only a symptom of the sickness.

It’s ok to strongly dislike Netanyahu. Hell, it’s ok to strongly dislike Israel as a whole. It’s not ok to blame all Jewish people for the actions of Bibi or Israel. That’s like blaming all Christians because Donald Trump is an asshole.

@EYakoby When you accidentally affirm that it isn’t about Jews, it’s about Israeli policy. And you don’t even realize how you just undermined your whole faux “anti-Semitism” nonsense.

"This is a brazen violation of international law." Fact check? False 🚫 Vessels are subject to capture "in int'l waters" (that is, outside neutral waters) if they are breaching or attempting to breach a blockade. Source: San Remo Manual ¶ 146 (pic). The only "unlawful" conduct involved here is the 175 people, including several New Yorkers, announcing their intent to breach a blockade then actually navigating to do so. While it may seem that @NYCMayor is criminally ignorant, sadly making baseless public pronouncements about "brazen violations of international law" is not, in fact, illegal.

Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers. My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers. This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.

Under international law, when you gain a piece of territory in a defensive war, it belongs to you. In addition, there is a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, and Egypt has no claims over that territory. The Palestinians, meanwhile, did not claim it when it was under Egyptian rule. It passed from Egyptian to Israeli hands, and under international law, it belongs to Israel.
Assal Rad@AssalRad

Gaza is not your territory. You are an occupier.

@nimatode @EVKontorovich Good thing they are being provided for! Terrorists stealing aid is not the problem of those providing! In addition aid ships must actually be providing meaningful aid under the same provisions and coordinate with military forces for proper transition
