Heat fans being honest about how mid their rosters were from 20-23 should make them appreciate Jimmy, Bam, and Spo more.

OKC has 7 tradable firsts and 12 tradable seconds if Presti and ownership wake up one day and decide to do something bold. Or they could simply pick 12th and 17th in deep draft and assume that and a healthy J. Williams gets them over hump again next year. Either approach justifiable.

So EDC got nervous about losing the picks and decided to make sure Maxx failed the physical to sign Trey instead.

"I didn't see [EDC] for five hours." - He said the energy was off when he finally met Minter and EDC, who informed him that one of the doctors had concerns w/ his knee and was going to get more opinions. - When Crosby went back to the hotel, his agents told him that they think Baltimore will back out of the deal. - A member from the Ravens called Crosby and said they were going to get the deal done. Five minutes later, Crosby receives a call from his agent, saying Baltimore has backed out of the deal. - "No one will ever admit what the real truth is. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. I am where I'm supposed to be," Crosby said.

Raiders went backwards record wise after drafting Jeanty & averaged the exact same 3.6 yards per carry in ‘24 & ‘25
RB is just a dependent position, they don’t move the needle anymore. OL is much wiser investment

Hawkins is a player, man. Impressive to see him pay deep halves & thirds — turn, run and track. He’s fluid as a center fielder.
I talked about how Starks needs to move around more & hopefully will under Minter.

As the dust settles, Eric DeCosta probably acted in a shady manner. Hard to believe he actually counted on Crosby’s knee being 100% beyond 2 years. But the Ravens are better for it. Hendrickson for 0 picks > Crosby for two 1st rounders. Scoundrels often profit & the NFL is not a league of gentlemen.

They didn’t fake a failed physical. It’s easy to fail someone on a physical if you want. The report is the Ravens doctors believed his long term knee health wasn’t ideal. Another team might view his knee as something that’s manageable.

How can 'multiple people around the NFL' possibly have the information required to determine whether the Ravens fairly identified more concerning info on his knee in a physical?
The Raiders may have given them their best assessment and Baltimore's medical staff simply disagreed once they got in there.
