How do we get water and sanitation for all? Bring in the private sector! Great to cohost a session together with @Grundfos at @AfWASA2025 on pushing the frontiers in PPPs for sustainable water. With more than 100 participants we left with multiple experiences and initiatives.

We were glad to host the Deputy Ambassador of Danish Embassy H.E Adam Sparre Spliid together with his team who visited Nyamatunga mini Irrigation scheme in Munkunyu and the Nyakatonzi water transmission project .

The Commissioner Macroeconomic Policy Dr.Albert Musisi is presenting the opportunities to accelerate growth and structural transformation of Uganda's economy. He says there is need to increase both actual and potential real GDP growth more than the level achieved last year of 6%,adding that new sources of growth must be found & there must be improvements in productive capacity of the economy to achieve higher growth potential. Other opportunities: ➡️Natural resources (oil & gas,gold,iron ore) ➡️Population growth & harnessing demographic dividend ➡️Enhanced regional integration ( EAC,COMESA,AfCTFA) ➡️Domestic savings to finance investments & reduce reliance on external debt. ➡️Closing gaps in the policy and regulatory environment. #8EGFUG
