You cannot judge Warren Buffett’s cash decision by the realized path alone. The question at the time was simple: did equities offer enough expected return over the risk-free rate to justify the risk? If not, cash was a disciplined choice, even if hindsight later flatters equities

They have already lost a lot by sitting on cash- dont think can cover for the opportunity loss unless market falls 30-40% more. Simple logic - market has risen by 67% in past 3 yrs. They may have made 15% so they have lost 50%. Let us say that average cash they have had over this period is 200 billion (would be more). So they have lost opportunity cost of 100 billion. Now they have 370 billion. So first they need to recover 100 billion - if market fall more than 25% then sitting on cash would break even.

Yeah sure... Iran has crushed israel today with ballistic missile salvos every 90 minutes. Drones are flying over US military bases easy as a walk in the park, your president is begging china for military help to escort american ships, while everyone else respects iranian sovereignity and use diplomaty to get their own ships thru the Strait of Hormuz. The US are idiots. And for a president bragging about how good he is at negotiations, he sure sucks at negotiations. His negotiation skills is just demand something, and if someone says no, or try to negotiate, he goes to war or hit them with tariffs. Fucking orange idiot

@parrysingh Sometimes i feel these birds, animals etc. figured out development without damaging their environment. Maybe they are the ones who are ahead and we humans went down a less scientific way of development? Who is to say these birds have less happy and content lives than us?

@volklub Also a killer feature is Auto Hold. Having used it now for 3 years it is a MUST in Indian traffic. Best implementation of auto hold is in Bmw and Audi, Vw vehicles. While the worst i found was Mercedes that confusingly works on double tap.

Opinion: Tata has made commuter looking cars like Nexon & Punch sell in crazy numbers with working on constant feedback, Sierra is Sierra. In 12-24 months, with more & more feedback, I am sure by looking at the pattern that Tata will silently introduce many variants of Sierra to make it sell with packed capacity. Curvv’s case was different, Sierra inside the showroom looks majestic & very want worthy. Keep an eye on sales numbers for 12-15 months and bookmark this tweet.
