Considering 343i marketed the remake as faithful, the consistency argument doesn’t hold water either - at the very least, they could modify what they have.

The covenant character models are Infinite's and to be honest Im okay with that especially since their designs were inspired by the classic designs and they look great. The game is obviously rushed.
