@SeanDOlfc Yamal will be a wreck inside the next two years - the current injury is where is begen and then will likely be on repeat
English

This is one thing I will agree with. Too many young players are getting shafted physically.
Itumeleng@Itu_Mochaki
@SeanDOlfc I really like the way he helped protect and develop Ngumoha. Overshadowed by his terrible setup, but he has definitely helped the lad

@draper_rob @SamWallaceTel There have been some crackers of those too and it’s how you balance a single game vs the overall 2 legged result! A much trickier task!! Good luck and a look forward to your update on it 😁
English

@rich_tricky Now I need to thru the semis @SamWallaceTel mentioned Eintracht-Rangers (the semi that made Fergie) 1960 and of course there’s LFC v Barça
English

Real Madrid 1960, AC Milan 1994 and Liverpool 2005 would like to have a quiet word 😉
Julien Laurens@LaurensJulien
PSG have now been involved in the greatest Champions League final ever and the greatest Champions League semi final ever! What a team Luis Enrique has built!
English

@thepaddymone @draper_rob I don’t think he is - good comeback but far from a classic
English

@markgoldbridge He has said he wants to manage LFC at some point in his career - so he’s not going to manage the low grade reds sorry
English

@Anfieldlnsider Split between Hughes and Edward’s? Whoever is there needs full backing in the summer. Coach’s leaving (not great ones) a lack of backing in Jan surely doesn’t bode well for slot despite the noises. That stats must be terrible on him 🤷🏻♂️
English

@Aladei007 @cfbayern United in general but also any idea that Diomande is going there too 🤣🤣🤣🤣
English

✅Liverpool could miss out on Bayern-linked Yan Diomande cfbayerninsider.com/2026/04/liverp…

@HendrickD82 @AnfieldSector @ptgorst But we’ve been shit for over a year!! Where are the getting this ridiculous stuff from?!?
English

@AnfieldSector @ptgorst We were shit in April 2025!
English

[🟢] INFO: It's expected that Arne Slot's end-of-season grading will keep him in his current position. Fenway Sports Group are determined to allow their head coach the time and space to prove why April 2025 is the norm and April 2026 is the exception.

@UnitedStandMUFC @markgoldbridge If it’s not Carrick then there is no one more ideal than Southgate for the club - lets him in asap and let th magic begin

@FabrizioRomano The man has an agreement to leave (not an official release clause) if he wants to

🚨 Rummenigge when asked about €200m for Olise: “In 2009, we had an incredible offer from Chelsea for Franck Ribéry. At the time, it would have been a new world transfer record”.
“I then went to our then CFO, Karl Hopfner, and Uli Hoeneß with this offer. We discussed it for two hours, trying to figure out what to do with it. That day, we made a fundamental decision: that in the future, we would never sell a player we would miss on the pitch”.
“This unwritten rule still applies today. For a player like Olise, there's no price tag that would make us flinch”, told @julianbuhl.

English

@GracieAFC @AnythingLFC_ 🤣 if he’s for sale we have the money as we always do if there is a player worth it.
English

@A_Andersen_ I actually think the club think he’s the best 6 the have been looking for some time - tall and progressive - him alongside Wharton in a double pivot would be great
English

Ayyoub Bouaddi (18/ 🇫🇷/ LOSC Lille) provides another great opportunity in the summer market for Liverpool and their needs for a defensive midfielder.
As a player Bouaddi is a phenomenal ball winner, with a great physical presence in duels, high IQ and reading of the game while being quick for his position.
Despite his young age, Ayyoub is a regular starter and standout player for Lille, especially defensively. With 5.33 duels won (56.3%), 0.94 aerial duels won (61.1%), 5.46 recoveries, 2.3 tackles and 1.07 interceptions.
Really proving himself as an anchor in the middle of the pitch, shielding the defenders really well.
As well as that Ayyoub is very calm and comfortable on the ball, supported by the data. 33.5 successful passes (84.2%), 1.28 successful long passes (73.2%), 1.19 successful dribbles (58.3%) and 56.6 touches with only 0.85 dispossessions.
Genuinely really good at winning the ball and either calming play or progressing play from phase 1 to 2 or 2 to 3.
He isn’t the most creative, nor is he a goal scorer or box crasher. But Ayyoub Bouaddi does what you want your #6 to do, win the ball and progress it.
He’s still just 18, so his potential to grow is massive and due to the financial situation of French football, he won’t be overly expensive.

@LFCApproved This could almost be an identical repeat this year…can you imagine 🤣🍼
English

I’ve got something for you buddy…

chief@aliladiere
If Liverpool slip up from here, I’m afraid it will be the greatest bottle job in the history of sports entertainment
English

@HendrickD82 @Micks2B @IverHanrahanGP Walk at tha point as there are other top jobs including in Holland available to him this summer which he’d miss out on.
English

@HendrickD82 @Micks2B @IverHanrahanGP I just don’t see how this could be possible in practice. What manager wouldn’t want some sort of pre season with players - he’s also coming from international football…admittedly it’s a World Cup but even so it’s not the same level of day to day stress. And Slot - surely he’d
English

Its true but the decision seems to be made hes staying. No excuses next season of “new signings” “too many leaders left” “world cup impacted pre-season” “need time to integrate”. There needs to be a significant improvement from the off to justify it.
Sean@SeanDOlfc
When Klopp first came in it was clear that we were being coached well and had an identity, but needed new players. People who are behind Slot are happy to see absolutely nothing positive from a tactical or structural standpoint. All they mention is signings.
