What's most crazy about this situation is that rumours started to come out after that first defeat to Real Oviedo that some inside the club had doubts whether Luis García Plaza was capable of managing Sevilla.
Sevilla were the archetype of long term thinking bringing in young selling high, now every single decision in the club is made only with short term results, a true mess.

Spot on, I don’t even think Liverpool players had this much abuse when they went 30 years without a league title. Neville Keane Ferdinand Scholes etc are constantly slagging off our players and that does have an effect on how they play every week.

I truly believe that the sheer number of ex-United pundits passing constant judgement on players on Sky, TNT, The Overlap etc has an impact. Playing for Manchester United has always been a goldfish bowl but the relief from that intense spotlight is likely a hugely freeing thing.
