yesterday a local-ish ortho did zero actual exam, answered zero questions. he asked a single question but dismissed every phrase i said as i answered his question (his scoffs were mostly anti-science & anti-fact🙄), & on his way out he criticized me for dressing too casually

and water leaks!!!! are very!!!! expensive!!! it feels like we just got a working fridge again & also a working hvac unit dude..... what the hell. i feel like I'd be coping with this better if i wasn't hurting so much & could actually move & help & etc. the fuck

anyway our place may have foundation issues or whatever but we start going down the list of "trying not to lose everything we own" later today with a plumber that's slated to come after husband gets off work. sadly a water leak is like the least expensive thing it could be. fuck.

it sucks that most hospitals & large medical practices in my state got gobbled up by one predatory hospital system that keeps getting graded poorly in patient care by 3rd party orgs then responding by basicallying saying "well...nuh uh, actually"

not even top 3 of my worst medical experiences but i still feel sorry for anyone in his life or who regularly has to deal with that dude from the patient side. drs rly don't do actual exams anymore & i should've realized this when ovarian torsion was og diagnosed as period pain🙄
