I’m a Telugu journalist based out of Hyderabad and I’m writing this on behalf of EVERY SOUTH INDIAN STATE. India needs to pay URGENT attention !! This is not delimitation. This is political punishment. Punishment for controlling population. Punishment for investing in education. Punishment for doing exactly what the nation asked us to do. For decades, South Indian states acted responsibly , built human capital, strengthened public systems, and contributed disproportionately to India’s economy. And now, the reward? Fewer voices in Parliament. Let that sink in. States that governed better are being pushed to the margins, while political power shifts purely on population numbers. This is not federalism. This is a structural imbalance in the making. Is India still a Union of States or are we heading toward permanent dominance by a few, at the cost of others? Representation cannot come at the cost of balance. Democracy cannot mean silencing those who performed better. If delimitation happens without safeguards, it won’t just redraw constituencies , it will redraw the idea of India itself. SOUTH INDIA IS NOT ASKING FOR PRIVELEGE. It is asking for fairness. @narendramodi @PMOIndia @ncbn @AndhraPradeshCM @revanth_anumula @TelanganaCMO @siddaramaiah @CMofKarnataka @mkstalin @CMOTamilnadu @pinarayivijayan @CMOKerala

I wonder if UBT did not scuttle Aramco’s giant (Jamnagar scale) Nanar Refinery project of Ratnagiri 10 years ago, how would the geopolitical scenario in our country (vis a vis our current advantages) would be. It would have been a huge force multiplier for India and a huge leverage India would have had on Saudi Arabian royal family. I am not counting jobs and general prosperity such projects bring to the region (and pollution yes). Such is the cost of useless activism. Same applies to 9GW Jaitapur nuclear power plant project by Areva.

When even Al Jazeera has to fact check Pakistani fake news against India, sh1t has hit the roof. The GLISCO-DS that Pak is a part of is hurting India economically, politically, and geopolitically using fake news and propaganda around the world. Reuters, Bloomberg, FT, AP, Nikkei, BBC, so many news wires have been hijacked by this GLISCO network to push fake news against India to hurt its interests and instigate issues. India needs to fight back without more apathy.

@aparanjape I am ready to walk even 5 kms if our most beloved , ever gracious and the most efficient PMC gives us walkable footpaths and roads. I am not saying I will not walk in future, all I am saying is currently when I walk on roads I feel like I am walking in Palestine!

True...agree with the Head of #PuneMetro, Shri Shravan Hardikar. In #Pune the two-wheeler use is so prevalent and 'carved in the DNA' that folks often drive up right to the store/office/tapri (and hardly walk a few steps).... Sometimes they don't even dismount from the two-wheelers while shopping or having a snack/tea/coffee. Often this also leads to illegal parking as well. Metro is great - but world over, it is common to walk a few hundred meters to get to the nearest metro station. This is common in Mumbai since decades as people are used to the suburban locals and buses. Pune has among the lowest bus usage among large cities. As the city moves towards metro adoption, this change management (walking a few hundred steps to the nearest station) is needed. Of course, we need better footpaths with no encroachments. @metrorailpune @PMCPune @navalMH

@rohitkamathh @waitin4agi_ Cricket has been ruling India for decades, you don't have to downplay cricket or show it in bad light to prove your point. Even a small tournament of cricket with its money changing hands will make your marriage proposals and so on look cute.

We were the media partners for Hyrox Bengaluru. Spent 2 days filming it with a 30-member crew. Calling it “validation” misses the point entirely. Here’s what we actually saw: - We captured a marriage proposal on the race floor. - Athletes finishing together with tears - First-timers who trained 6 months for this one day. - Couples racing together. - Colleagues showing up in matching kits. - Coaches running alongside clients they’d trained for half a year. - People with disabilities finishing the race while the whole venue stopped to cheer them on. ₹9K isn’t for the race alone. It’s for the experience. For decades, sport in India meant sitting on a couch watching cricket. Someone else playing, someone else winning. At Hyrox, you’re the one on the floor. The 9,000 people paying ₹9K to participate tells you exactly how starved this country was for it. If fitness becomes the new status signal, that’s a massive win for society. We’ve spent decades flexing cars, watches, handbags. If the new flex is - I trained 6 months to finish a Hyrox. I feel that’s the healthiest status game this country has ever played.
Ankit Kedia@Ankittskedia

HYROX fitness event in Bengaluru saw around 9,000 participants. They charged ₹9,000 per person to participate, which comes to roughly ₹8.1 crore made in a single day. Same trend is showing up in marathons. People are paying ₹3,000–₹5,000 just to run for a day. Being fit is good. But why are people spending this much on a one-day event? It feels less about fitness and more about validation.

@bonyuppal Don't worry sir, Pune is soon becoming a third class city for fourth class citizens! No amount of complaints or outcry from us will make even an iota of difference. There is no rule of law anymore here. Everything is about politics of convenience.

#Pune get ready for a thunderous Sky Shaking experience of sound and laser lights tomorrow. Was surprised to see the huge wall of speakers and flex banners put up all over. Many a heart patients need to be careful tomorrow. I hope the administration and #PunePolice will take cognisance of the setup being created and whether it meets the rules and guidelines laid down. They need to check sound levels and laser lights. While travelling today, saw this huge setup at many places. @CPPuneCity @CPCB_OFFICIAL @PuneCityPolice

Been in IT for 5 years, and I’ll say this clearly: Muslim men in IT are among the most disciplined, hardworking, and resilient professionals. They stay calm under pressure and consistently deliver at a high level. Their only consistent ask? Time and space for Namaz. And if schedules are tight, they make up for it by staying late, ensuring work doesn’t suffer. In return, companies get people with strong integrity, reliability, and long-term commitment.

Received a concerning message from an employee at a Tech Mahindra BPO in Goregaon, alleging biased hiring practices, unequal workplace policies, and religious favoritism during festivals. If true, this raises serious questions about corporate neutrality and fair work culture. Authorities & company leadership must look into this urgently. ⚠️ @anandmahindra @tech_mahindra

Alphonso Mangoes from Ratnagiri are just as good as an average Mango but unnecessarily expensive. Don't know why Mumbaikars hype that like they hype the useless vada pav. Mangoes of Karnataka and Andhra are vastly superior at least in price as taste is subjective.
