Oak Hills Country Club San Antonio TX AWT- 1922 Love a classic design. Built on rolling terrain, set amongst beautiful oak trees, this is quintessential Tillie ball strikers paradise. The green complexes, firm and fair, will entertain those who love the short game and putting aspects. Blessed with good turf and zoysia grass, a thin line exists between birdies and bogeys. A wonderful day and always great to see old friends. If you are in SAT and love tee to green golf with tactical nuance, this is the place for you. Note- both 9 & 18 are wonderful par 3’s.

What’s a obscure golf course in America that has the raw material and routing to become a Top 100 course with the right architect and investment? A true hidden gem waiting to happen. I’m looking for names I’ve never heard before.

Headed to Houston for the week for shows and to hang with friends and family. I always gain 4lbs when I’m there. Food is just the best.

I think I’m ready to eradicate the word “pure” from the golf vocabulary. Seems like it’s way overused and most of the time used incorrectly. The Covid golfers have ruined that word too. Remove it from the dictionary

@alexelliottgolf Most of the slowest golfers I’ve played with have been low handicappers. There’s not very much correlation between skill and pace of play

@BillyGNippers I like my Hyperflex. I usually wear my FJ pair that looks like old man tennis shoes, they are ugly but comfy.

Non-golf brands don’t exactly have the best track record (😏) of success when they decide to try and crack the golf equipment business. It will be interesting to see how McLaren does.

Brandel Chamblee was never a good golfer, and is an even worse commentator on The Golf Channel. He is mean, divisive and shows blatant favoritism and hate for certain golfers. I change the channel when he is on, and wish he would be fired.

@RRodgolf I know they don't allow spectators out for practice rounds but I drove by yesterday and even about 11 there were maybe 10 players on the range and even at Senior events the range will have a buzz of people, there was nobody hanging on the range.

This is so unfortunate. LPGA major in the heart of a major city and thriving golf hub. C'mon Houstonians, let's support these ladies!
