Visited the turmeric market in Tamil Nadu's Erode recently, shocking to see farmers from Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Hunsur travelling 250+ km just to sell their produce. Chamarajanagar alone produces 49,564+ metric tonnes of turmeric annually. Why no turmeric market in the region?

Indian Armed forces should learn from Iranian strategy of building “War cities” in their mountains.
