@whorememberspod @nessman930 Great pod. Had a SNES, N64, Megadrive (late on) and PS1. Bomberman, Super Mario Kart and ISS were great on SNES; Ocarina of Time best game on N64, Goldeneye and Starfox great too. Toejam & Earl 2 amazing on Sega, my folks loved it! Destruction Derby on PS1 was great fun.

@callumf84858484 @AllThingsBlades Look at Wolves-Arsenal last night, 2-0 down and bottom v top, but fought back to draw. Now owls look like having a better keeper (Dieng) than you've had all season, a 0-0 isn't impossible, just unlikely...a red card or key injury can turn these type of games.

@_GeorgeSmith99 Nobody gave bottom placed Wolves a chance against Arsenal tonight, and they came back from 2-0 down against the league leaders to draw, so Wednesday nicking a 0-0 is not that difficult to believe.

Henrik Pedersen is promising that he and his players will "give everything" to try and win Sunday's derby at Bramall Lane. He knows just how much it means. His message to the fans and why he believes Millwall offered the ideal preparation. ⬇️ #SWFC thestar.co.uk/sport/football…

@jjwhaling @adam3oxley @footballheaven Fair point, assuming Leicester don't get docked any more points. Had they not been docked 6 already, it might only have needed a Blackburn draw on Friday.

@sheff71 @adam3oxley @footballheaven Not quite correct. If Leicester and Blackburn are both on 35 that would be enough to relegate Wednesday, providing WBA win, as they have to play each other and can’t both lose. Also applies if Leicester are on 33 and Blackburn 35. Owls couldn’t catch both. But WBA must win.

Appreciate the input from @jjwhaling. There seems to be an extra scenario where Wednesday would be relegated on Saturday IF Blackburn lose then West Brom & Leicester both win. In any scenario, West Brom have to win to see the Owls down before Sunday. #SWFC | @footballheaven
Adam Oxley@adam3oxley

After Portsmouth’s win tonight, I think… A Blackburn draw/win on Friday followed by a West Brom win at 12.30 on Saturday, would relegate Sheffield Wednesday before Sunday. If Blackburn lose or West Brom draw/lose, it will go to the Steel City Derby. #SWFC | @footballheaven

@StuartSykes14 @WTIDPOD @kualakidd2 Leicester don't matter, they're already in bottom 3 on 32...if the 4th bottom team going into Sunday is on 35 or lower, owls could get relegated on Sunday. If 4th bottom are on 36 or more, the owls are down already. So West Brom have to beat Cov, and Blackburn get a point v PNE.

@WTIDPOD @kualakidd2 Only thing that needs to happen is Leicester don't lose. They will then have 33 min or 35. If Utd beat Wed...you can only get 32 and therefore relegated. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@WTIDPOD @kualakidd2 It's pretty sad if that's what you're wishing for...? The owls could actually try and win the match instead? It mainly relies on West Brom beating Coventry really, and if they do that, then fair play to them!

@whorememberspod My favourite episode I think... talking about Poodle Charles (who was blind): Andrew: "How did you know he was blind?" Liam: "Well, cos he couldn't see". , 😭 This after talking about PJ & Duncan's blinding incident, and assuring us that Charles wasn't blinded by paintballs!

@Fletch19891 @YesWeCrann Not unless fixtures moved...48 points to play for, 39 points behind Blackburn & West Brom on 32. If owls lose at Swansea and home to Millwall, and WBA or Blackburn pick up 1-3 points in next 3 games, could go down at the Lane. If WBA or Blackburn get 4 points could be before that

A 1-0 defeat for Sheffield Wednesday today means that they’ve gone eight league games without a goal for the first time since back in 1975… The 1970s were a grim time for the Owls - this period will be remembered the same way. #SWFC

@whorememberspod @GlisteningKicks Was surprised when it seemed to turn into what's your favourite world war, I or II 🙂 Did you mention the Paul McCartney song Pipes of Peace, which featured the 1914 footy match and the truce in the video, with Paul playing soldiers from both sides.

In our latest pod we take you back to WW1 to talk about the Christmas Truce of 1914. How did the truce start? Did a game of football actually take place? And why does this episode turn into an advertisement for @GlisteningKicks? Find out all the answers in the links below

@whorememberspod @ThePinchNews Was this show done by AI - didn't seem to have any errors and was well researched. 😁 agree about Long Blondes, great songs and best of the rest after AM. My favourites were Monkey Swallows The Universe who supported Hawley and Long Blondes, more like Belle & Sebastian than AM.

@BritPen @AlanBiggs1 They have showed far more fight in most games this season though,so if nothing else you would have expected that against a United team that has struggled, especially with Chansiri now gone?

@AlanBiggs1 So many short term memories looking at the comments. People simply forgetting why we are where we are. Forgetting that half of that team wouldn’t be playing under normal circumstances. Forgetting that the heart and soul was ripped out of the club over the past 6 months.

Sheffield Wednesday verdict: It’s wrong to bear down on these players. They’ve been through so much. But I expected, as I’m sure they did, a much closer game. Main fault is regularly conceding soft early goals. On the back foot before they started. #SWFC

It’s been an entirely lacklustre performance from Sheffield Wednesday today, and they were lacking in so many ways, but a word on Harry Amass who genuinely looked up for the scrap. Another sign of his quality, and further proof of the bright future that he has ahead of him.
