That's because they're insufferable on FF14. I've never seen a group more openly hostile yet insistent on being shoved into everything. Every major drama in my FCs was because a trans person was angry at someone, or they cat fished someone and now they're getting exposed.
At a certain point, I realized that half of the "females" in the game were just guys pretending to be women. Some of them weren't even trans, they just wanted free stuff and attention. A big reason I quit the game, despite having over 4500 hours, was because the community genuinely got worse over time. The moderation was also horrific. I got banned for a week one time, while I was logged off, and never told why. It was the nail in the coffin for me.
It also helped that they gutted my favorite classes and the story dragged on long after it should have ended.

The Passport thing is just one off several methods for a person to prove thier citizenship. The adding a valid Military ID with proof of service showing birthplace is the next line.

The problem under the current SAVE Act bill is that it’s not just about showing a government-issued ID like a driver’s license. You have to show an ID plus a birth certificate, or you have to show your passport. That is excessive.
I can get on board with showing a driver’s license or some other form of government photo ID, like a military ID, which also is not accepted by itself under SAVE, but what is proposed here is going to make voting far harder for the average American.
The problem is that I think the average American believes all that will be required under this law is a standard photo ID. They don’t understand that a government photo ID alone is no longer going to be good enough. And I think you guys in the Republican Party know that, you are playing on that ignorance.
I bet if you conducted a poll and asked specifically whether people would support the requirement to show a birth certificate or a passport to vote (because a photo ID such as a driver’s license or military ID wouldn’t be enough) Americans would be against this en masse.

Conservatives generally defend Voter ID laws by insisting that all voters will be able to figure out how to get a valid ID, so the law won't disenfranchise anyone. But the truth is that a certain small percentage of voters actually won't be able to figure it out, which means that a certain percentage will be defacto disenfranchised. And that is all the MORE reason to put these laws in place. If you're so dumb, befuddled, and incompetent that you can't manage to perform such a basic task, then you are not qualified to vote. You don't deserve to have a say over the direction of the country. Stay home and let the competent adults handle it.
