The FT had a really terrible long form piece where the author mixed up the issue of assassination in general with a declared policy of murder. We have historical assassinations, ofc. But it was always violently denied by state actors. No states in Western history before the present day Israel and the US, have ever followed a declared policy of murder. Murdering the leadership and envoys of the enemy has never been a practice in European civilization. This is a whole new level of barbarism originating in Israeli setter colonial extremism that has grown to monstrous proportions under Western protection.
