ClearAccessIP was designed to be the clearing house of IP in the age of AI. Low to no transaction cost - Coasean principles of moving rights in balance. Massive p2p licensing infrastructure with no middlemen (i.e. metered licensing). Sadly, in 2020, I got busy with finding out what caused my kid's ASD and I sold the company - otherwise I would have continued with the company.

@tweetatpablo Applying a wavelet transformation to an image is transformative. Unless, of course, the goal of the wavelet transformation is to compress the image and allow its reproduction. It depends. Same with transformers.

Happy to share that I've started a new legaltech venture, LexPipe, an AI-enabled legal data connector platform for law firms. LexPipe stands at the crossroads of technology, law, data governance, AI governance, and open data standards (e.g, SALI). linkedin.com/posts/speedpla…

Michael Sander/@speedplane is one of the more innovative people I have met. Can’t forget interviewing him and realizing he built and maintained Docket Alarm as a one person show.

Really proud of what Michael Sander and Team @Fastcase + @vlex have built together — amassing 775M+ dockets and documents, including Pleading Tags with beautiful standardization from @SALIalliance. Looking forward to seeing what @speedplane builds next — and you should be, too!

#Patent folk: The #USPTO no longer seems to publish cumulative statistics for outcomes in AIA post-issuance *reviews* (IPRs, PGRs, CBMs) from 2012-present (vs stats for # of AIA-challenged patents). Is there another source or do I need to compute from archived annual data?

Just gave @DocketAlarm's Batch Downloader a brain boost, integrating OpenAI's GPT-3 & GPT-4 models. The new "Batch AI Analyzer" provides gpt-4 outlines of every litigation document filed in state or federal litigation. 2nd feature in a series redefining #legaltech

I've found that using Anthropic's Claude to ingest large documents, combined with GPT-4's ability to create well-structured prompts to query the document, is a nice one-two combination.

@legalytical @ArtificialLawya If we can point to a lawyer that’s been let go for improperly using predictive coding in e-discovery, then yeah, AI has taken jobs.
