@RadioFreeTom Ironically, Randy George is the most warrior-oriented GO to lead the Army in a long time. Another great officer tossed on the ash heap of history. Pete Hegseth is such a pitiable character.

Someone needs to tell the American people what's going on in the Pentagon, and it obviously won't be Pete Hegseth, who is at war with America's senior military officers. My latest: theatlantic.com/politics/2026/…

@Acyn US went after Iran because it was in the interest of its national security but US also showed great leadership in solving everyone’s problem that other allies should have recognised and offered support, if not for direct fighting then, at least, to allow landing and refuelling

Jennings: You have supposed friends of the US saying you can't use these bases. Phillip:Are they not right to wonder why weren't they consulted before trump decided to wage a war? It sounds like you think it's in their defense. Jennings: It is in defense of all of Europe Phillip: Shouldn’t they have been consulted? Jennings: Consulted? We decided it was in our national security interest. Phillip: So, that makes it our war.

ZELENSKYY to BBC: We went through difficult relations with Iran. We did nothing to them. They shot down our plane, killed our passengers and crew, didn’t admit it, and didn’t let experts in. Then the full-scale war started. They handed Shahed drones to Russians to kill our civilians. I asked them to stop. They promised there would be only one batch. They lied and kept supplying weapons. That’s why I consider them accomplices of Russia.

@ELNVdc @VolodyaTretyak Then US shouldn't have forced Ukraine to give their nukes in promise of "security". Not that anybody will trust US from now on but...

@VolodyaTretyak He's right. Ukraine wasn't our fight and we never should have gotten involved. Russia is no threat to the US.

Trump has never been very supportive of Ukraine, but why on Earth is he so toxic?

Wisconsin Supreme Court justices have a profound responsibility: protecting the rights of the people and delivering on the promise of equal justice under the law. Judge Chris Taylor is the only candidate running for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court with a proven record of delivering on that promise. I hope Wisconsin voters join me in supporting her candidacy for Wisconsin’s highest court. Election Day is April 7th — make your plan to vote now. myvote.wi.gov/en-us/

50% of Hungarians consider Ukraine an enemy. 64% oppose its EU accession. 74% demand no aid. Zelensky is the most hated public figure, ironically with Putin. Politico presents this as a problem for Ukraine. In fact, it’s Hungary that’s really cooked. politico.eu/article/eu-wan…

@Rail_splitter1 It looks strange to me in center of Europe. Even some of Trump supporters have some excuse being completely isolated in deep South or Midwest.

@stranger_five @AnthonyFormic13 @Rail_splitter1 You are missing the point. If the US wanted Western Europe, it already had it and relinquished it after WWII. We have done nothing but try to help you rebuild. And now this?

Never in my worst nightmares did I think I’d say this: In the event of a Russian attack on NATO, we have to start thinking the unthinkable: whose side will U.S. forces in U.S. bases in Europe take? We all know this: Trump would find joint aggression with Putin irresistible.

@AnthonyFormic13 @Rail_splitter1 Not sure. This was the main reason Trump 1 didn't bring the troops from South Korea back to US. He was told that keeping them in Asia is cheaper for the Pentagon than having them stationed in US.

If the USA does not intend to honour the obligation to defend NATO because European countries dont join an offensive war of choice against Iran that we have absolutely no obligation to join, the USA membership of NATO is already worthless. The NATO oath to defend each other is unconditional. If you dont intend to honour it because you are offended about disagreements that have nothing to do with the treaty obligation that you have sworn to uphold, your are not a realiable ally. Tresties with you are worthless and your word means nothing. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case for the USA.

Trump stated that he does not respect Putin, calling him a war criminal, and emphasized that a war of aggression in the 21st century is unacceptable. Trump highlighted that he admires Ukraine’s resistance, Zelensky’s leadership, and the Ukrainian people’s commitment to European values. He said he will continue to support Ukraine in every possible way, reaffirming his belief in democracy, justice, freedom, liberal ideals, and the development of independent institutions. “We will stand with you for as long as it takes,” the U.S. president stressed. He also added: “Slava Ukraini!”

@Tatarigami_UA Comparing the Russia and the US wars is totally without merit. Iran lost its entire Navy and Airforce within a week. Offensive capability was reduced by 90%. We have air superiority over the entire country. The fact that they have electricty, water or oil is our choice alone.

The recent struggles of two ostensibly dominant global military powers (the United States and Russia) to meet their stated objectives, despite initial advantages, should give China serious pause as it contemplates the most complex amphibious operation against Taiwan in history

@Tatarigami_UA The Chinese are smart. I don’t think they will try a military takeover of Taiwan. They will achieve their goal in a non-military way. The signs are already there. China tried to offer energy securities, for now it failed but it’s clear they are now trying a peaceful reunification

@Tatarigami_UA It’s been two months and the U.S. has achieved most of its goals. The U.S. military has shown itself to be highly effective, compared to any other military. If they can successfully reopen the SoH, the entire operation would be, objectively, a major military success

@Tatarigami_UA What about giving China the idea to block the international route via South China sea? "The South China Sea is a critical maritime corridor carrying roughly one-fifth of global trade, valued at over $3 trillion annually"
