@TheAhmadOsman I would say 3090 Ti for (3) - The original 3090's RAM chip placement can lead to overheating - it was fixed in the 3090Ti

If you’re asking what to buy, my recommendation based on the budget:
1. RTX PRO 6000
2. RTX 5090
3. RTX 3090 (used, from r/HardwareSwap)

@digitalix I just wonder/hope if there will be a refresh of it with much higher memory bandwidth - for our HPC codes, the memory bandwidth is too low to make sense for the cost

what do you want to know about the DGX Spark that might still be unknown?
Like, are there features that you thought it has, but not sure. What questions do you want answered?
I’m especially looking for questions about real performance, clustering, model support, software, and whether this makes sense vs a traditional GPU setup.
Drop them below.

🚨 New paper alert! 🚨
Yuan-Kuen Ko and co-authors (including PSI's Pete Riley and Roberto Lionello) deep dive into two coronal holes to present evidence for a surprisingly thick coronal hole boundary, and its implications for the "slow" solar wind.

Just completed the Google for Developers "Intro to Inference: How to Run AI Models on a GPU" (developers.google.com/learn/pathways…) and it was my first experience running AI inference!
I learned a lot!

This week, we're showcasing another component of our in-house -- but open source -- suite of modeling tools...the Solar Wind Generator (SWiG)! If you need to rapidly generate WSA-like solar wind outputs, SWiG is a must-have.

In @carolinevans04, Cooper Downs, and Don Schmit's new #ApJ paper, a series of simulations at increasing resolution uncover the correlation between magnetic complexity and coronal heating. The MAS model acted as a lab to probe difficult-to-observe scales.
