Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

I think looking back at LIV there was a truly pivotable period in the summer of 2022. They’d signed a solid early batch of players, then they nabbed Cam Smith. The PGA was reeling and had no plan. Had LIV signed one or two more top players then, a Rahm, or whomever, it may have opened the floodgates to a lot of guys switching that offseason.
But Norman couldn’t get it done. I think Phil was expected to be a huge part of it but he was sidelined due to his truly idiotic comments to Shipnuck. This bought time for PGA to come up with a plan and it was too late.
Can’t help but think how differently it would have played out had they gotten like a Deki and Morikawa (just examples) that July or August. But Norman couldn’t make the sell.

The Heat losing is a good thing. So, this isn’t about being a sore loser. But, what LaMelo was allowed to get away with this game: Dirty play to take out Bam, travel at the end of the 3rd resulting in 3pts, and travel late for a layup.
Really good game. But, what LaMelo Ball was allowed to get away with was bullshit.
