@capt_jazzy007 As much as this is interesting and a source of livelihood, are we not ridding our forest of these animals? What would happen in a few years time?

🚛 LAGOS TO JOS: 11:30 PM. Apapa, Lagos. After spending almost six hours loading goods and arguing with agberos over one levy or another, I finally hit the road. Sleep? That’s a luxury for another day. By 2 AM, traffic around Berger was already building. Danfo drivers were doing what they do best, and every driver on the road believed heaven had reserved a special lane for them. At Ogere, I parked to grab a plate of rice and turkey. The food seller called me “Chairman”, but somehow charged me like Dangote. As dawn broke around Lokoja, I thanked God for surviving the madness called Nigerian roads. Potholes so deep, they looked like they had their own local government chairman. Then came the checkpoints. Police. FRSC. Customs. Army. And sometimes, officers whose uniforms even tailors couldn’t identify. “Driver, anything for the boys?” The famous Nigerian greeting.

@MasterMaliq If and only if every Muslim was like you, and thinks like you. We have lost our humanity on the grounds of religion. As humans, we are supposed to be accommodating. I really don't blame people who are judgemental though, because history is also a teacher

As a Muslim, there's something that genuinely bothers me. Millions of Muslims live in Christian majority countries, build mosques, preach Islam publicly, distribute Qur'ans, open halal businesses, and demand religious freedom, and rightly so. Some even call for aspects of Shariah to be accommodated in the societies they've moved to. Yet in some Muslim majority countries, Christians cannot openly preach the Gospel, build churches freely, or practice their faith without restrictions. Why? If we demand religious freedom for ourselves, we should be willing to grant it to others. Truth does not need censorship. If Islam is the truth, it has nothing to fear from a church, a Bible, or a Christian preacher. You can't demand tolerance and freedom for Muslims abroad while denying the same freedoms to others at home. The double standard needs to be called out.

I can't imagine what is going through the mind of the headless people who defend this government. All the indices by which a government could be measured are missing, but they still bury their head in the sand, holding on to what I don't know

@jon_d_doe You don't need to buy a new one. As far as you can't hear a knocking sound, it just needs draining and proper cleaning. Above all you need a good Mechanic. What car brand is it?

If water finds its way into your car engine and mixes with the oil, is it advisable to repair it or to buy another engine? It's a V6 engine.

Why do we have dirt on almost every major road in Lagos? All the median, Kerbs are all filled with bags of refuse, and they are stinking. It is a health hazard waiting to happen. @Lawma_gov @LasgMOE @tokunbo_wahab

@InvhestorD @OgbonnaReigns Of course, I would do the same. Why would anyone in their right senses decide that he wants to drive a car of over 50m to a place where he is been paid 380k monthly? What message is he trying to pass? What would be the effect on his employer's business, his colleuge, and others?

My brother got a well-paying job in 2019 and was earning ₦380,000 monthly. Through careful saving and smart financial decisions, he was able to buy himself a Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG Coupe after two years. Instead of congratulating him, his manager became suspicious the very first day he drove the car to work. He was called into the manager's office and bombarded with questions about where he got the money, how he bought the car, and even who his father was. The manager found it difficult to believe that an employee earning less than him could afford such a luxury vehicle.

@OgbonnaReigns Of course it is a side hustle. Either a legitimate one or illegitimate. If you had a legitimate side hustle that could help make that much money, why hustling for N380k monthly? Putting out narratives likes this is what got us into the mess we are in as a country.

If as a country, we can't take our anger on security & particularly about the abdution In OYO to the Polls, I doubt if anything would ever spark a change in our country. A Country will only grow with leaders who are sensitive to the plights of its citizens

The new CBN BVN rule has a loophole nobody is talking about. Starting May 1, you can only change your BVN phone number once in your lifetime. The goal is to stop SIM swap fraud. Smart move actually. The problem: telcos recycle numbers. MTN confirmed it... any line with zero activity for 360 days gets deactivated, then reassigned to someone else. So here's the scenario: You buy a new SIM. Activate it. Try to link it to your BVN. Discover the previous owner already used their one permitted change. You're now permanently locked out. Not because of fraud. Not because of you. Because someone you've never met once changed their number. FIJ already reported that recycled SIM cards regularly still carry the previous owner's BVN and bank alerts. Technext documented people buying fresh MTN lines and immediately receiving UBA transaction alerts from strangers. CBN didn't sync this rule with how telcos actually operate. That's the gap. Data protection lawyers have already sued the CBN to strike this rule down. The Federal High Court in Kaduna has the case. The bigger issue is...your phone number was never yours. It's NCC property, leased to a telco, temporarily assigned to you and can be taken and resold the moment you go quiet for a year. Tie your banking identity to something that permanent and this is what happens.

In the wee hours of yesterday morning, while men slept I was repairing a deep lying perineal tear and episiotomy. Finally finished with her blood all over and my scrubs completely soaked with sweat. In that moment I remembered that I’ve worked 9 months and received 1 salary
