When in doubt, clear over clever. Small words. Short sentences. Big opportunities. Complex confuses. Simple sells.

I wrote blogs about electricity for over a year. Fun fact: Electricians don't read blogs. That's what happens when you don't know your customer.

@GrammarHippy It can scale if you target the right people, but even then, there's still the question of whether the return is worth the effort. My take? It works only if you can build around drawing and raise the customer’s LTV - or if you love the business enough for it to matter.

Question for you. Do you think a course on "how to draw your cat" can scale on cold traffic? How about a course on "how to draw your dog"? Can it scale on cold?

If you're unwilling to tune out the world for at least a few hours a day, then don't be surprised when your life looks like the world's priorities rather than your own.

The biggest mistake founders make is waiting to “feel ready.” You get ready by doing the reps. Launch it messy. Fix it while it’s live. Speed is the only advantage you control.

Your biggest threat to a rich future is cheap dopamine. The brain cares more about a small reward now than a big reward later. That's why it's hard to do things that benefit your future self. A simple fix is to keep reminding yourself what you are (and aren't) working toward.

There comes a time where you need to cut off the avenue of fun. For 6 months. Go ghost. Don’t buy anything for yourself. Don’t waste your days with entertainment. Don’t keep comfortable. Work long hours, wake up early, sleep late. Accomplish what needs to be done.

Working for another 40 years sounds fucking depressing. This is why it’s more important than ever to build your brand now. I don’t care how old you are, just start now. In due time, you can only win.

Pick the task that moves revenue. Cut the tasks that don't. Finish version one. You're not stuck from lack of clarity. You're stuck because you're avoiding the work that matters.
