My hope is that as AIs take over more and more programming work, there will grow a small but vibrant market specifically for small, simple, "human crafted" things, like has happened in some other heavily-automated industries.

@wookash_podcast In environments where the job is "Here are 50 Jira tickets of the form 'add a button to this dialog with this color hex code from the Figma'" humans were already the bottleneck, it was already a bubble, and those jobs (which I've worked before!) were already on borrowed time.

If you're a bottleneck to AI doing its job it, you're doing menial tasks, glue code, low complexity work.
Look for work that would require your taste, aesthetics, sense, knowledge, hunches, heuristics, etc.
