@AnotherCFCFan @SonOfChelsea I think a lot of people felt the same (!). It's never from a place of malice or wanting to be right. I'd rather hold my hands up, as we coast to a title or cruise into the next round of the Champions League. I just never bought into BlueCo, particularly the recruitment.

This isn't a squad built for *anyone*. We can barely play a consistent back four, let alone one that can win a header. Our midfield looks like it's never met before - it neither protects nor drives us forward. And our attackers seem to have their boots on the wrong feet.

I've largely stepped away from socials/podcasting because I was bored with constantly being negative about the "talented players", 'project', and the direction the club has been heading in. After ~4-years under BlueCo we're unrecognisable as a football club. Utter dross.

@lebfirecracker Even if you believe we've got individual quality in the squad (I'm a lot lower on people than others), I think it's becoming increasingly difficult to argue that there's a coherent starting XI there. We've got too much evidence that 'key' players just don't work together.

@tim_rolls All good here! Very busy and probably a lot more detached from the club than I'd like. I can't get my head around how poor every aspect of this has been. Particularly when you had a vocal element trying to suggest this was/is some part of a greater plan.

It is genuinely impressive how far backwards we've gone in such a short space of time. Even if you ignore the vast amount of money spent, the constant “we know better” rhetoric, and the inability to execute the basics. This hasn't just happened overnight. Years of mismanagement.

@MaccaSport Never bought into him. Completely hamstrung by the calibre of players he had at his disposal (as will be the issue for the next guy). But he's just another poor choice in a long line of poor choices, made by the same 4/5 people running the club. Until they go, nothing changes.

Part one of the issue solved, now focus on the berks who keep making the appointments and spending money woefully.

If we aren't looking at sacking the 4/5 people (I've lost count at this point) running the club, then this is putting a plaster on an open wound.

@SeanH9017 We finished fourth (just) and won a competition we should have won. I'm happy, but this isn't some life changing achievement after the level of spend and the gaslighting around style of play. There's work to be done. And I'm v. happy with how the season ended & how Enzo changed.

@TeamAL16611 I barely have time to watch non-Chelsea games these days. I'd be looking at a long-term partner for Colwill, a centre forward and probably a wide forward/goal scorer. And them maybe you're looking at some depth elsewhere, depending on who goes. But the above would be starters.
