@m_mburner @KierDoyle Which skills and tools do you think we need? He covers ground really well, aerially strong, wins second balls - played really good against Manchester City recently and held his own in the UCL last campaign. If Villa need a big sale in the summer he should be priority n.1

I think there is probably some food on the table using Moi’s ground covering + ball winning as an offensive (press -> transition chance generation) tool rather than the ultimate press hole plugger…
But you need somebody to then do his job

. @KierDoyle I am curious what you think of this. You have been talking lately about how “Chelsea is only ever as good as their press” & I think back to when Maresca was hired. I always assumed he would play Moi as the 8/10 like he did Ndidi to destroy & press from the front.
