Federal workers are already staring down the barrel of 40,000 job cuts, and now Carney wants to force them back into the office four days a week. It will make it harder for the public service to recruit and retain talent, it could cost up to $6 billion and it’s a slap in the face to workers that undermines ongoing negotiations. Federal workers - like all workers - deserve to be treated with respect. Just weeks after they formed the company’s first union in North America, Ubisoft has shut down the shop rather than bargain in good faith. 71 talented folks thrown out of work.

Halifax plans to buy 33 Robie properties by fall 2026 for a 2nd bus lane. An April report said they have about half of the properties so far. The cost for this portion of land acquisition alone is ~$64m. Wonder what it is now? @hkryan17 @CompletedStreet
