@jordanreviewsit I'm in "appear away" status the entire work day. My colleagues know they are free to drop me a message or call whenever they like. I might answer or not but that's the same with red and green status.

@TeslaBiTSreal @battleangelviv Exactly, people underestimate the cultural aspect of this. People used to single light source cold light get cave men vibes when they see our warm, dim lot ooms.

@battleangelviv It's a mystery. In warmer climates, they tend to prefer cold temp might. While we enjoy candlelight level temperatures.

My last update was 2026.2.3 on February 2. After that, I haven’t received anything. Really strange, because many people have already gotten the new update. $TSLA
The Tesla Newswire@TeslaNewswire

🔥🚀 The Tesla 2026.2.9.1 software update is now rolling out to the 8th batch of vehicles (reaching ~11% of the fleet)! It includes the same FSD (Supervised) v14.2.2.5. Changelog: ✅ Minor fixes 2026.2.9 Changelog: ✅ Autopilot Naming Update This change only updates the name of certain features and text in your vehicle, and does not change the way your features behave. • Navigate on Autopilot has been renamed to Navigate on Autosteer • FSD Computer has been renamed to Al Computer. ✅ FSD (Supervised) v14.2.2.5 2026.2.6 Changelog: ✅ Grok with Navigation Commands (Beta) [Europe / Ryzen only] You can now talk to Grok, an intelligent assistant built by xAI. You can choose Grok's voice and personality, ranging from Storyteller to Unhinged. Grok can add and edit navigation destinations, becoming your personal guide. You can ask Grok to navigate to the best Thai restaurant near you, find a Supercharger within walking distance of a coffee shop, or even plan a romantic sightseeing tour. Requires Premium Connectivity or a WiFi connection. 2026.2.3 Changelog: ✅ Unlatching Charge Cable Charging can now be stopped and the charge cable released by pulling and holding the rear left door handle for 3 seconds, provided the vehicle is unlocked or a recognized key is nearby. This is especially useful when the charge cable unlatch button does not work or a charging adapter is stuck in the charge port. You can still release the cable using the vehicle touchscreen or the Tesla app. [North America] [Already in use in Europe since 2025.20 update] ✅ Child Left Alone Detection If an unattended child is detected, the vehicle will flash the exterior indicator lights, play an alert tone, and send a notification to your Tesla app. This will repeat at regular intervals until you return to your vehicle. [Israel] [New 3/Y] ✅ Map version build number removed [undocumented] ✅ Minor fixes 2026.2 changelog: ✅ Minor fixes ✅ New Trip Weights and AP Weights under Autopilot section in Service Mode [undocumented]

Wait, I thought you shouldn't permanently have an SOC of over 80% even in LFP batteries if you want to get the very best battery health like with NMC chemistry (whether it's worth worrying or not is a different topic). The only reason it's encouraged to do so in LFP is because the voltage plateaus across a high SOC range, making it hard for the battery management system to know what the actual SOC is. Charging to 100 is only to calibrate and account for this issue.

Incredible news! Tesla and LG have signed an agreement to build a 4.3 billion dollar LFP plant in the USA. I have an LFP battery in my model 3 and I’ve loved being able to charge it fully without ever worrying. I’m at 80,000km and the battery seems to be just as good as the day I got the car.

BREAKING: The U.S. Government has officially announced that @Tesla and LG Energy have signed an agreement to ‌build a $4.3 billion lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic battery cell manufacturing factory in Lansing, Michigan, with a 2027 start of production. "American-made cells will power Tesla's Megapack 3 energy storage systems produced in Houston, creating a robust domestic battery supply chain," the U.S. Department of the Interior said in a statement. Here's everything you need to know about Tesla's new Megablock, the latest in the company's industrial storage product lineup, which includes the new Megapack version 3: Megablock: • 23% faster to install with up to 40% lower construction costs • Plug and play platform (hardware, software and services) delivered as one all from Tesla. It's a pre-engineered medium-voltage block that integrates next-gen Megapack 3 • Eliminated above ground cabling between the transformer and the megapacks using new flexible busbar assembly • 91% MV round trip efficiency • 20 MWh of usable AC energy • Operates in temps of -40°C (-40°F) to 60°C (140°F) • 248 MWh per acre • 25-year life & >10,000 cycles • With Megablock, Tesla is targeting to commission 1GWh in 20 business days, equivalent to bringing power to 400,000 homes in less than month Megapack 3: • Will be manufactured in Tesla's upcoming Houston Megafactory starting in late 2026. 50 GWh annual manufacturing capacity when fully ramped. • 5 MWh of usable AC energy • Weight: 86,000 lbs • 28 foot long enclosure that can be shipped globally • Optimized for up to 8-hour applications • New drastically simplified thermal bay. Uses Model Y heat pump, but on steroids. 78% fewer connections, which minimizes failure points • Larger battery module and larger battery cell • 2.8 liter battery cell, co-engineered with Tesla's cell team • LFP battery • Operates in -40°C to 60° • Went from 24 cable connections in Megapack version 2XL, down to 3 simple busbar connections • 75% of the mass of Megapack 3 is battery cells. • A single module in it weighs as much as a Cybertruck • Tesla has enabled easier front access service, so there are no roof penetrations • Drastically simplified bussing system

@DigitalDaisyX Even if this would mean they could feel levels of fear and pain (which they don't as they lack a central nervous system) you should ask yourself who the most plants are being "killed" for. Spoiler: it's not the vegans but the animals you eat.

Tesla Cybertruck software update 2026.8 now includes the Blind Spot Anti-Opening feature, first introduced with the Model 3. The Cybertruck can now detect cars, pedestrians, and cyclists in your blind spot and prevent you from opening the door if danger is detected.

@OutofSpecDetail They have! Still don't understand why the blind spot cam feed is so tiny when turning. I need a magnifying glass to see if there's really not another person coming on an E-Bike.

Reaktionszeit?
