Are we all in agreement that this is still the game of the decade ?

the internet is bleeding into real life

The plummet between 82% of subway riders in 2017 feeling it was safe during the day and 46% today is striking. (And just 22% at night. Sidenote: I find it safe all the time). But the fact that 82% found it safe it 2017 is striking. And it WAS safe then. And then we gave it up.

Zohran Mamdani had a choice of minding his own business when he backed @DarializaforNY over @EspaillatNY.

Publicly quarreling with the Packers as an elected official from Wisconsin feels like the most obvious form of political suicide. Also, mentioning the Brewers' struggles against the Dodgers and then saying the same wouldn't happen in the NFL just doesn't connect.

I asked DSA congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier (NY-13) about several of her previously deleted tweets, including one that read that “all deportations are wrong.” Here’s what she said:

Vance: It doesn’t both me that Democrats disagree with our policies. It bothers me that they are just terrible people, so many of them. But what really does bother me is that they don't show gratitude for the United States. If you don't feel grateful to live here, what are you even doing being in public service. Too many Democrats don't show appreciation for the country

Hello Mr. Vindicated Journalist Guy @AsteadWH , quick question...now that all the DSA candidates are deleting their old posts from a few years ago and pretending they never said what they said, do you still stand by your Expert political analysis that all the 'woke' stuff that voters hated was driven by 'the establishment class'? Because as far as I can tell, none of the 'establishment class' Dems are having to do a wholesale wiping of what they said just a few years ago and are able to fully stand by it. Please advise, as you are the Political Expert and I am just a partisan dumb dumb.

Idris Elba says rumors he'd be the next James Bond were "never legit." “I’ve always felt that it’s not a realistic thing,” he told British GQ. “James Bond was written how he was written for a reason. But I was complimented by it. And also, I think, in realistic terms, some markets just don’t go for that. Bond is big all over the world. And [audiences] won’t [all] go for a Black male, an African male, playing Bond. That’s not what they like in their culture. Period.” variety.com/2026/film/glob…

Shouldn’t have run a billionaire idk

Pierce Brosnan says his James Bond movies were 'never good enough' “The violence was never real, the brute force of the man was never palpable. It was quite tame.” “I have no desire to watch myself as James Bond. 'Cause it's just never good enough. It's a horrible feeling."
