Listen, you’re wrong if you think podcasts got Trump elected. This is all part of something much bigger. Trump was selected, not elected. This has been in the works for a long time. That’s why the Democrats ran a candidate who represented everything many Americans feel tired of, including what they see as overly “woke” politics. The reason so many people are turning to podcasts is because they are searching for a Lighthouse In A Sea Of Shit. People no longer trust mainstream media after feeling misled for years. They believe it has gotten too many things wrong, and they’re fed up. Nobody going back to corporate media outlets that are pushing constant propaganda. Instead, they’re tired of hearing from voices they view as disconnected or untrustworthy.

That's why there's massive pressure to resolve this conflict fast. But the real story is the Strait of Hormuz. 21% of the world's energy flows through a two-mile deadly zone where tankers have been attacked for decades. Japan gets 70% of their oil through there. The moment you can float a tanker through and prove to insurers it's safe, global oil prices drop. Period. Iran made a huge mistake raining drones on their neighbors. They're now completely isolated. The smart money is asking one question: How long can they keep taking this punishment?

The problem I have with a religious analysis of humanity's current predicament is the same one I have with the Q bots - it typically ends with a call to do nothing and wait for Jesus to return (or insert your deity of choice). It's essentially a call to stand down because god is coming to fix everything... eventually. I am sorry, but I cannot buy into this. I believe in a Creator - though not the one from the Abrahamic myths - and I don't believe my Creator wants me to sit around and do nothing. I believe the Creator - the Great Mystery or Great Spirit - breathed life into me and all of us so we can be here at this moment to rise to the occasion. So we can do what is necessary to build a better world for the coming 7 generations. I don't believe the Creator wants us to do nothing but pray and sit on our asses until "he" returns to solve all of our problems. This does not mean there is no power in prayer and our thoughts generally. I simply believe we need prayer and action. It seems to me that this mindset is the same absolution of responsibility that infects the Q crowd. Essentially, it's a religious "trust the plan" mentality. We can do better than that and I believe the Creator put us here to do better.
