Weeeelp. Accidentally backstabbed and betrayed a bunch of my teammates and now no one wants to be associated with my tarnished image. Just my luck lol.
With this newfound discovery, I’ll be giving away my Advanced spot to the first IM or Main team to DM me here or on Steam.
Cautiously optimistic for next season, but mostly excited I won't have to be teaming with someone who told us that one of his hobbies is to "drive around with his friends with their windows down and yell the N word at homeless people then speed away". Team vibes can only go up.
Someone throws a round. A real momentum-shifter. During review, silence hits first... then the feedback starts. Usually from the top-- from spawn, from the first bad peek. Like we’re sitting around watching our favorite team to hate, narrating a collapse.
Here’s the thing: if the player already knows they messed up, they’re probably halfway through their own mental VOD. If they don’t know, then starting with a lecture won’t get you anywhere with them anyway.
The real fix doesn’t start with the mistake-- it starts with the perspective. What did they see? What did they think was happening? If you’re calling it a late rotate and they thought they were plugging a gap, you’re not aligned. You’re not even in the same round.
Great teams don’t need five IGLs or five prodigies with superhuman game sense. What they do need is clarity on decision-making roles. Either you’ve earned the freedom to process situations on the fly, or you’ve committed to executing the layer that was agreed on. The problem isn’t always the mistake. Sometimes the real issue is that someone acted like they had the green light-- when they were supposed to be running the set play.
So then you have to ask: did they overreach, or did we never make the roles clear? Was the plan too complex to recall in real time? Were they playing a memory game while others were reading the game state? Are we expecting structure from players we’ve told to play loose?
These questions shouldn’t come after the mistake. They should’ve been settled when the team agreed on how rounds are called, how prep is absorbed, and who actually holds decision rights when the pressure’s on.
The best playmakers don’t succeed because they do what they want-- they succeed because they know when they can do it, and who’s relying on them to make the right call. That’s not ego. That’s hours. That’s instinct shaped by intentional reps, reflection, and real alignment.
So when feedback hits, don’t just break down what went wrong. Make sure you’re solving the right thing. Misplays happen-- misunderstandings are what break teams.
2-0.
Team winning games efficiently without drama. Sadly this means I have nothing to tweet about. No mental breakdowns to mock, no roster implosions to leak, no 3am team fights to screenshot. Winning is good but terrible for my engagement. Suffering from success I suppose. #GG
@1w0wzerz Your setup leaves a lot to be desired. You should get a standing desk. Standing promotes better blood flow and thus better performance. Surprised everyone plays sitting when it’s scientifically proven to be unhealthy for you.
Season 53 begins in a week. The ritual of collective delusion right on schedule. Strange how we rebuild the same prisons every season, then act surprised at our confinement. Perhaps the true competition isn't against opponents but against our awareness of this endless cycle.
@1w0wzerz One thing I’ve found helpful with my little one is to keep his room very simple. Mattress on the floor and his setup in the corner. I’ve moved his books and toys to the game room as they can be distracting and get in the way during his scrim time. Setting him up for success!
One of my proudest moments as a #GamerDad today.
While usually I’ll delay dinner or withhold water privileges from my 6 y/o son until he does 1000 dm kills after school, today he did it without any external motivation.
The pride I feel watching this kid develop is immeasurable, he’ll be the next donk in no time.
@1w0wzerz From picking up the AWP to IGLing to also entrying and now being a board certified sports psychologist. I’ve never been more convinced you are what NA needs most. Is there anything this man can’t do?
Roster update: Made the difficult decision to part ways with one of our players effective immediately.
Zero tolerance policy for substance abuse issues that put both the player and team at risk.
For those wondering, we made the discovery that one of our players was abusing SSRIs to treat their BPD and anxiety.
Wish them the best in their recovery journey but championships require discipline on and off the server. #HardDecisions
Legitimately disgusted at what occured in our comms today. I have no words for what I witnessed. This is not even a troll post, I truly believe I am working with some of the most fraudulent players of all time. Pathetic to the highest degree. God, if you’re listening, save us.

Sucks to see @DTruxy step down. From Open -> Advanced he's been a part of it.
Looking for AWP or a support rifle

I have made the decision to quit competing in CS2. The game has been amazing to me for 10 years and I have met so many amazing humans. Time for the next chapter of my life. My team will be looking for a 5th to finish out the Advanced Season with.
