Season 8 ends August 4 at 12:59 CEST. Season 9 begins August 5 with a soft Elo reset and ten placement matches to determine your new Elo. Your Season 8 activity is a key factor in the upcoming reset, so every match you play now helps reduce it.

From July 6, Overpass is leaving the queue and will no longer be available in Matchmaking. Cache joins the competitive pool in its place and will count toward the minimum maps required in your queue settings.

A Cache only queue is available to play in EU with lower stakes at ±5 Elo per match. This event is available until July 8 to help players practice the updated map as the new Premier season begins.

Server location is moving away from vetoes. Instead, captains rank their team’s server locations from best to worst, and for each match, the system uses both teams’ rankings to determine the fairest shared location. Rank your location preferences today.
