@KamenKongu Remember that whole scene where she teaches him about eagle vision and all the jabs she gives him throughout the game that boil down to "you're too self absorbed to see the world as it truly is, but you can do better", that reinforce the games and series themes? Maybe do a replay

the parry is 100% the defining mechanic of the last decade souls games popularised the parry, now even doom & spider-man have a parry, expedition 33's loop is built on parries, any game with swords is expected to have it. and it still feels satisfying to pull off in every game

And no, Lightning Returns was not "developed by tri-Ace". tri-Ace was just one of the numerous external studios providing support. In their case, with a very small team of 6 motion artists.

Lightning Returns: FFXIII ✅
For a game developed in such a short span of time, Lightning Returns was truly lightning in a bottle.
In some aspects of its gameplay, it even reaches the series’ highs. LR is not just my favorite of the trilogy, but a top 10 Final Fantasy for me!

Everytime I tell people about the Universal Studios Waterworld stage show, they tell me I must be lying and there is no way that a theme park still has a dedicated hourly stunt show dedicated to a notorious financial bomb from twenty plus years ago.
So yes, it exists, and reskinning it as One Piece is pretty damn smart.
