I am not watching but if the show gets to book 5 then I fear for those flashback scenes because a group of white kids bullying a black student and levitating him up in the air is....uh...a choice of imagery

@_EgoMayhem The Final Days pushed the T rating but had less of a lasting scar on the setting than... Baelsar's Wall did, or a successful peace between man and dragon causing three patches of intense lingering issues

Oh wow. FFXIV just got changed from CERO C to CERO D in Japan. CERO C is rated 15+ so maybe roughly equivalent to T rated game on the ESRB. CERO D is 17+ making it semi-equivalent to our M-rated. Wonder how this will impact things

That's because they're insufferable on FF14. I've never seen a group more openly hostile yet insistent on being shoved into everything. Every major drama in my FCs was because a trans person was angry at someone, or they cat fished someone and now they're getting exposed. At a certain point, I realized that half of the "females" in the game were just guys pretending to be women. Some of them weren't even trans, they just wanted free stuff and attention. A big reason I quit the game, despite having over 4500 hours, was because the community genuinely got worse over time. The moderation was also horrific. I got banned for a week one time, while I was logged off, and never told why. It was the nail in the coffin for me. It also helped that they gutted my favorite classes and the story dragged on long after it should have ended.

Apparently, women playing Final Fantasy 14 needs to become mandatory if there's any hope of waking them up to the troonytunes problem en masse.
