NYPD 24 Precinct Community Council

The @24PrecinctCC was proud to honor Asst. Chief Aaron Edwards for his courage at a protest when IEDs were thrown into a crowd. We also honored Officer Nilda Quezada, who was inches from the device when it was thrown. Their bravery shows the very best of the Department.

Tonight @CB7Manhattan is hearing from @24PrecinctCC about missing persons, homeless outreach, resources for our @NYPD, and pet safety. It’s the monthly Community Council meeting and the room is full of engaged New Yorkers.

Packed house at our first Precinct Council Meeting of the Fall!🍁 We were proud to welcome the new Commander of our @NYPD24Pct, Captain Veniece Gayle, as well as introduce our Precinct's new Q-Teams (Quality of Life Teams)! Than you to everyone who joined.

September 11, 2001, marked one of our nation’s darkest days. Few responded as bravely as New York City’s first responders. That day, the @FDNY lost 343, @PANYNJ lost 37, NYPD lost 23, and many others continue to suffer from illnesses related to 9/11. We will #NeverForget.

Yesterday, we were proud to attend and sponsor the Broadway Mall Festival. It was a great day to connect with neighbors, talk with community members, and share how to get more involved with the 24 Precinct Community Council 🚓💙 Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table!

Last night’s National Night Out Against Crime was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We had a fantastic evening with our neighbors, local community groups, and NYPD officers all coming together for the good of our neighborhoods.
