El único momento donde están Presidente, Vicepresidente, Secretario de Estado, Secretario del Tesoro, Presidente de la Cámara de Diputados y Presidente Provisional del Senado en un mismo lugar es durante la State of the Union, que se hace en el Capitolio y es considerado el evento con más seguridad del mundo. Pero hoy los periodistas acreditados en la Casa Blanca hicieron un evento donde todos los que acabo de mencionar estaban invitados y la seguridad que pusieron en la puerta fue esta. Papelón del Servicio Secreto que no dijeron que las condiciones de seguridad no estaban dadas para que vaya el Presidente y los 5 de su línea sucesoria a un evento en un hotel pedorro.

I was under the impression that they were somewhat rudely replying to someone else, when they weren't even replying to anyone. I must have gotten two different people mixed up.

Also, if you don't have any connections after, there are typically no more security checks after baggage claim (unless you choose to declare something, which would be a puzzling choice after stealing someone's bags)

@GLabsPlus @Math_files I didn't come up with my definition either. Both are used, depending on what properties you want from a square root, a lot of the times you don't need it to be a function. In any case, my issue is not with the definition but with the smugly lecturing people while being wrong

@2ccedilla @Math_files But I didn't come up with this particular definition on the square root function. It was defined that way in order to satisfy the definition of a function. Anyone can make up their own definitions of any word, but there are official definitions used and accepted in the field.

@GLabsPlus @Math_files Mathematician here. The thing is when you define something, people can just not accept your definition. I can just as easily define sqrt() to include the negative solution, and I'm not any less correct than you

@Math_files Mathematician here to explain. The square root of a number is by definition postivie. That's why f(x) = √(x) is a function, and why formulas where the positive and negative root is needed use the ±√ symbol. x² = 9 has two solutions: x = ±3 But x=√(9) has one solution: x=3

Acá en Grecia 🇬🇷 laburo para el mercado de España. Mis clientes son en un 90% españoles. Me exigen que hable de "tu" y que use palabras como "pinchar", "ordenador", "enlace", etc. Tengo prohibido usar anglicismos. Se me pegó tanto, que ahora digo "el móvil" o "te envío un correo", entre otras cosas, hasta hablando con argentinos 🇦🇷. Y yo vivo en Grecia, hablo todo el día en griego. No critiquen a los argentinos que viven en España 🇪🇸 por hablar así. Es totalmente normal que se te pegue después de estar horas hablando como ellos.

Females lay 100-300 eggs beneath these rocks. Stacking or moving them can kill an entire generation in an instant. It's literally illegal in national parks.

This a neutral topic of mine for quite some time. What is the actual ecological damage of ppl stacking rocks? I always thought of it as a few moments someone wasn’t on their phone but in nature doing something. Figuring out a puzzle of going higher when they can’t just ask grok how to do it.
