Ime Udoka is like the NBA's version of Raheem Morris. This team simply turns the ball over too much in clutch time and Ime doesn't press the right buttons offensively. I think one of the biggest failures of Ime this year was not recognizing how that Reed Shepperd is probably the 3rd or maybe even the second most important player on this team. Once FVV went down, developing him to be ready was going to define their season. The Rockets are absolutely a first round exit and you should feel comfortable fading them against anyone, although I will say, if they play the Nuggets in the 4-5 matchup, that's a dogfight for both teams, one that the Nuggets will probably win but one that Denver will have to earn.

I maintain that the single most insufferable thing about New Yorkers is that they bewilderingly try to claim everything. This transcends politics—all New Yorkers do this. Yes, everyone has coffee. Everyone has convenience stores (nicer than your “bodegas”). Everyone has what you have and it’s usually cleaner and cheaper!

Reality Labs has posted $84 billion in total losses since 2020, per Meta's Q4 2025 earnings. But here's what the dunks leave out: that division doesn't just build "the Metaverse." It builds Quest headsets, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, the Orion AR prototype, a neural wristband, and research avatars. Horizon Worlds, the VR social app that's actually dying on June 15, was a sliver of that spending. Meta's CFO, Susan Li, confirmed in January that 70% of Reality Labs' budget goes to wearables and AI glasses, with only 30% toward VR and Horizon. The guy everyone's roasting today quietly built the fastest-growing wearable in consumer electronics, while Horizon Worlds was the decoy drawing all the fire. The wearables side produced results. Demand got so high that Meta paused the international rollout of its new Ray-Ban Display glasses because they literally cannot make them fast enough. Bloomberg reported they're in talks to scale production to 20 million units. Zuckerberg called them "some of the fastest-growing consumer electronics in history" on the January earnings call. Horizon Worlds, the thing that's actually being killed? It peaked at about 300,000 monthly users in early 2022, then fell below 200,000 by October of that year, according to internal documents reported by the Wall Street Journal. A YouTuber who spent a week in the app in 2023 found roughly 900 people online at any given time. When Meta announced 30% budget cuts to its metaverse teams in December, the stock jumped 5.7%. The company did $201 billion in revenue last year. Zuckerberg spent $84 billion, killed the part that didn't work, kept the part that did, and his company is still worth $1.6 trillion. The internet is roasting a guy who can't make his glasses fast enough to keep up with demand.

Name one player who has missed out on a supermax because of the 65 rule (and remember, they need 10 years of service too)

My biggest gripe with the 65-game rule is that you are actively telling people that you don’t trust voters to be able to discern between like 62 games played and 67 games played.

Being able to have Lebron show up at media day, hop on a regional broadcast, or be at games actuall has a value if you're not the Lakers, Celtics, and Knicks.

@HPbasketball There’s that downside of giving other teams film to prepare, but it gives their team reps too. I’d rather have my team get some meaningful reps playing different game plans / styles, than them doing for the first time in the playoffs.

this is legitimately one of Redick's biggest strengths: he gameplans for matchups and implements gameplans that deviate from their standard defense night to night and it's a huge edge. It has SOME risk in the playoffs to giving teams tape to solve, but if you start by conceding you have to adjust to them, I actually think it's a net benefit because it kicks off the chain of adjustments and if that's your strength, it plays to you. that said, every coach always says they want to be the last one to adjust in a series.
