Three Leafs players jumping Gudas tonight is hilarious and honestly incredibly soft in my opinion. You stood around and did nothing when the original incident happened and now you want to make it theatrical by acting tough and going after the guy. I don’t love Gudas but what the Leafs are doing is ridiculous. But I guess that’s happened when the whole league calls you soft 🤷‍♂️

You cant say "oh they weren't on the ice when it happened" there was a whole period left??? Who cares they werent on the ice at the time

I don't get why everyone's so happy with what Toronto's doing tonight. This isn't even an anti-toughness thing. Most of it just feels super inauthentic. Like a bunch of dudes trying to turn around the last few weeks of criticism by checklist of things they're "supposed to do".

Caufield's best year in his ELC was 43 points. Suzuki's best year in his ELC was 61 points. To get a "Cheap" cap hit, you need a core that doesn't put up numbers like say a Marner or Matthews does in their ELC.
