@PattyMurray What’s sooo interesting is that states in the blue say there’s no fraud while states in the red say there is.. seems no harm no foul to vote yes for the security of knowing only citizens can vote so we’re all sure the arguments are null and void.

The average person is more likely to be struck by lightning than they are to commit voter fraud. Seriously. That's a real stat. I'm voting NO on the SAVE America Act.

@BasedMikeLee Must be awesome to listen to people talk of important bills like save America the same like they’re voting for 4th grade class president and trying to justify their vote because Julie brought in red jellybeans instead of snickers..

We're now in our second day of debating the SAVE America Act in the Senate I've listened carefully to hours upon hours of the Democrats’ arguments against it I have yet to hear a single argument that I cannot refute—and in fact have not refuted on the Senate floor in the last 24 hours Even worse, most of their arguments are based on a profoundly indefensible mischaracterization of my bill

Reminds me of 2019 when we purchased the model 3 and my wife said, “we don’t need to test drive any other EV because we’re getting a Tesla”. It was that obvious just from driving a Tesla and it’s the same today how a 6 year old Tesla is still better than anything else available.. well, except a cybertruck

It's CRAZY to me that the Model Y L is $20k cheaper than the Kia EV9 here in Australia, yet 1000x better in every single way.
Scott Dembraski@SDembraski

My wife returns the Kia EV9 today. She is sad because she loved the color and practicality it had. She did really like “Bluey” lol. Overall we had no problems with it. No battery issues as some had. We were thankful. She’s not going to miss how it handled in the snow or bad weather. It had all season tires but seemed to slide around and she didn’t like that. The range was ok. We didn’t really travel with it. She mainly used it around town, but I think the range was maybe around 250 miles, she only supercharged it a few times at Electrify America Tesla only recently opened up charging to Kia, but we never needed it. Most times we would just take my Model S when traveling, especially because of the FSD. She wanted to possibly buy out the lease but Kia wanted way too much money for this thing. I think it was around $54,000, 2 years old with 23,000 miles. No thanks, we see used ones with less miles in the $30,000 price range. Now we play the waiting game, what she really wants is the Tesla Model YL She is going to drive my Model S for now. She’s OK with driving it, but she doesn’t like how low it sits and really hopes the YL comes soon. Please @tesla bring the Model YL to the US soon before she decides to go buy a legacy SUV that is inferior and cannot drive itself and the software is trash but just adds more buttons to try and make up for it. 🙏🏼

This is what I voted for! D.O.G.E. has finished its clean-up of Social Security & they have remove a whopping 12.3 MILLION scammers from the Social Security system. If each fraudulent person was making just $1800/mo, then D.O.G.E. just saved Americans $22,140,000,000 A MONTH.

It’s going to be extremely difficult for Tesla to implement robotaxi and they’re positioned very well to comply with all regulations and safety laws. I’m not even sure Waymo will survive because they have software issues and expensive hardware issues.. doubt Rivian will make it at all.🧐

Nobody understands how much of a disaster this Rivian <> Uber deal is Rivian lost $3.6 billion last year on 42k deliveries. That's $86,000 of value destruction PER VEHICLE that left their factory. Their solution? Partner with Uber to turn a $58K camping SUV into a robotaxi... to compete with Tesla's Cybercab... YIKES Every 12-18 months, this company finds a new partner to write a check: - Amazon: $1.3B equity + 100K van order - VW: $5.8B joint venture - US DOE: $6.6B loan - Uber: $1.25B robotaxi deal (today) The moment they announced the Uber deal, they admitted they're pushing back profitability AGAIN to fund an autonomy program that can't even handle stoplights. Tesla's Cybercab is purpose built at $25,000 with no steering wheel. The cost per mile math isn't even close. The Uber deal is to deploy 50,000 robotaxis by 2031. Slight problem: The car doesn't exist yet. The factory doesn't exist yet. The autonomy software doesn't exist. Manufacturing is HARD. good luck have fun

Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. I respect Rivian as a company, but I always try to remain unbiased in my opinions, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on where UHF stands today. Hoping to test it more as the system receives major updates! Hope you all enjoy the video. My beloved mobile charger that came with my Cybertruck doesn’t seem to be working anymore. It flashes a little bit of red when you first plug it in, then it goes away. When you try to charge a Tesla it gives an error “charging equipment not recognized.” This happens with multiple Teslas and it happens with both the 14-50 and 5-15 adapters. Tesla Wall Connector charges just fine so it seems to be the mobile connector itself specifically. Is there a reset switch on this thing somewhere? Or I likely need to get a replacement? At almost two years old am I covered for a replacement or do I need to buy a new one? Help @grok

Since my account is somewhat anonymous I’m going to disclose where some of the California high-speed rail money gets wasted. 99% of you don’t realize where giant chunks of the money is disappearing to. The California high-speed rail authority, literally owns thousands of parcels of land that are in various stages continued litigation, tenant improvements, eviction, and constant maintenance. For example, there are many homes and apartment complexes in the plant path that have been purchased years ahead of construction. Removing those tenants is a slow and expensive process. (let’s ignore the extra stress on housing that all of these destroyed properties are causing) In some cases, these are low rent apartments with a lengthy eviction process During that process, the state of California is the landlord and has to maintain the property codes the same as any other landlord. This means repairs, adding smoke detectors, fixing roofs, vegetation management, landscaping, paying off tenants to leave early, boarding up Windows, constant trash cleanups, towing vehicles etc. But the High Speed Rail Authority doesn’t just have to maintain these properties at normal cost. Every single bit of that work has to be done at California prevailing wage rates. The work can only be done through qualified contractors that have passed through a long series of idiotic mazes to qualify to perform the work. An average rate per hour (charge rate) for a worker to perform any service on these properties is approximately $200 an hour for labor only. The cost go up for specialized work, like electricians, plumbers, or machine operators. Properties that are literally worthless are being maintained at huge expense just so the next round of homeless transients can break into the property and cause more damage. For reasons I can’t explain, the process to finally demo and remove the structures takes years. I’m only mentioning the tip of the iceberg regarding my firsthand knowledge. Completely separate from those outlandish costs are the inflation caused by the construction. The prevailing word on the street is that nothing is getting done. The truth is that a lot is getting done and none of it efficiently. The amount of concrete being poured daily and monthly to build gigantic overpasses for both the rail and roadways is not understood. In these work areas, every concrete mixing company is fully scheduled out and cannot offer building materials for other basic services such as building a house often times for weeks when the average lead time for many of these services used to be one day. And that’s just the schedule, never mind the huge cost increases from straining the supply chain and Labor pool. The amount of concrete and steel that has gone into the structures so far is massive. Dozens and dozens of new water wells have been dug just for dust control. Thousands upon thousands of acres of highly productive tree fruits and nuts have been torn up and shredded. Utility scale solar fields have been uprooted and sometimes relocated at extravagant costs. Every type of business you can imagine has gone through either a closure, relocation, or a long-term tenant agreement with the rail authority. In some cases, it’s just a buyout where the business closes its doors forever. The owners get something all of the workers get nothing. Don’t get me started on how thick the layers of bureaucracy are for these minute tasks that occur on all of these properties. The inefficiency is far beyond your wildest dreams. In many cases, this is not related to fraud in any way it’s just absolute ignorance, red tape, and failed leadership. I can go much deeper into specific examples, but I think that gives some of you an idea of what’s actually happening in California. If a rail is ever usable, some portions of the structures will be decades old and already in disrepair.

Unless you’re driving 500+ miles per day, you don’t need an EV with that much range. The average person drives around 37 miles per day. Current Tesla offerings provide way more than enough for the vast majority of people. On road trips, I can usually only drive about two hours before I need to get out, stretch my legs, etc. During that time, my car charges. It’s not the inconvenience people think it is. It doesn’t make sense to lug around a huge battery when most people don’t actually use that capacity.
