@JibbSmart @tcevasive Can you explain why console aim assist is still significantly stronger than PC controller aim assist? It made sense back when console was locked to 60fps, but most console players are on 120fps now. Hip fire aim assist on PC is practically non-existent.

Your Fortnite K/D is mostly bots. Casual lobbies are padded with them, so the number in-game is noise. I built a tool that reads your replays and splits real kills from bot kills - so your K/D actually means something. Totally free.

@ChasersFrame This is exactly why I built my pc optimization app from scratch around measured results only. Every tweak either moves the needle on frametime or end-to-end latency - or it doesn’t ship. The industry doesn’t need more tools - it needs accountability.

So many casual players are struggling to find a reason to stay with Fortnite right now. I don’t understand why any company would deliberately alienate its customers when there is such an obvious solution. x.com/harzulx/status…

The amount of people angry/talking about bot lobbies on Fortnite disabling sprites to me shows me one thing. Very casual people don’t even want to q into the main game due to the over tweaked SBMM throwing them into lobbies way above their skill level and wasting their time. I really don’t know why they can’t go back to the other system again. Surely there’s so many things pointing to how the tweaking made back in December 25 was a failure. I don’t mind the smoke in these newer lobbies I just get bored of fighting the same 10 teams all night. No variation in the matches. Reason why I quit playing CoD. Casuals hate they can’t play with their more hardcore friends so they get slammed. And if they go into solos it just pairs them against people out of their league a lot so they just stop playing and don’t return. So who wins here?

.@JustTeddii @Hogman @FortniteStatus Main reason Fortnite pubs feel so broken and you are losing players. Lobbies are 60-90% bots. Remaining players are a mix of casuals, sweats, and people using hardware-assisted cheats and exploits. Casual players don’t stand a chance.

@REVERENDHAJT669 Yes, it may show 8K in a test. But 8000Hz = 8000 controller reports/sec. Unless Apex is making anything close to 8000 input decisions/sec, most stick states get overwritten before they matter. At 1000Hz you already get a fresh state every 1ms.

8000 Hz controllers are solving a problem you don't have. A controller reports stick position as state: the game reads it once per frame and discards the rest, so past 1000 Hz you gain nothing. A mouse is the exception. Here's why: alexanderthedad.com/why-your-contr…

Update: I retested all of these across multiple same-session runs and held myself to it - one of my own numbers didn't survive. The Omega stock figure here was a single unrepresentative capture, and hidusbf turned out to be a no-op on it, not a fix. Corrected data and chart:

Which pro controller actually delivers 1000Hz? Scuf Reflex FPS + hidusbf: 1000Hz, 0.19ms jitter - best tested Scuf Omega stock: 771Hz - hidusbf fixes it to 999Hz PS Edge stock: 695Hz, 0.68ms jitter - worst tested Hardware capability and actual delivery are very different things
