A year ago in May, we met with representatives of various crec particularized, mission and candidate churches in Calgary to discuss the church in Canada and listen to lectures from Rev. Brito.
Tomorrow night we start a new provisional presbytery for Canada under the oversight of Knox Presbytery. We meet outside of Calgary in Cochrane. 👍

He thinks that if you are Christian then you won't defend yourself, and this = "goodness."
This is a modern misunderstanding of Christianity.
But his point is not wrong: The West does need to recover it's ability to defend itself.

Even if he was, Netanyahu is not a Christian (few Israeli leaders are), not religious, and he is extremely clear about his intended meaning anyway, so it seems pointless to freak out about what he "meant." He's arguing that Western states need to be tough and use force to beat their enemies because being "good" isn't enough. Countless leaders have made the same point.

There are plenty of valid reasons to disagree with Netanyahu and his policies, but for crying out loud people, he is quoting a book by Will Durant (a guy you can find in every used bookstore).

@MikeWingerii, I'd like to respectfully challenge that the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on Cornelius was not an indicator of regeneration as much as a declaration of Gentile inclusion in the Holy of Holies, the church.
