This project has also shown me how much I want to up my game in terms of render quality for threeJS projects. I really pushed to get the graphics into a nice place with the Enterprise G, but I feel like the screen recording approach I used sold the whole thing a bit short (for the video I was simply screen recording with OBS - and this really is not a good approach) So some new components are in the works for my ThreeJS TriKit Framework... Which will allow for a handy 'render mode' to directly output frames at a defined FPS and resolution. This 'render mode' just gets a bit tricky when it comes to animation and camera movements. But I do already have bezier curve & cinematic camera modules implemented in my framework. So I will need to unify those better and add timeline and minimal-keyframe modules too, then look at hooking in gltf animation to a global timeline as well.

But it's ok, I have gotten great feedback on X & reddit which I really appreciate. Aiming to post more often again on YouTube too, especially threeJS content. I need to be more organized with my projects, and especially that last 10% of the effort to make something presentable.

Implemented 3x new 'middle' abstract classes and a new foundational abstract class the 3x middle classes inherit from (along with some test classes for debugging) (And no AI either, intellisense is off for this project!)

Spent 2 hours working on my new multiplayer C# backend project tonight, hit compile.. and... there were no errors, it just ran. A miracle in programming, rarely ever experienced. Feels great when it happens though 😆

Once the foundation of the ship mesh was setup, I started on the details. Lots of dynamic (and static) lights added here - which would all need to be either baked to a texture or rebuilt in threeJS. #b3d #blender

From Day 1 of 3D modelling & material setup. All just in Blender, no threeJS work at this point. I just wanted the basis of the ship body down, and to start adding some of those classic star trek style ship lights (with lights later becoming a deep dive I wasnt expecting!)

@ratlpolicy Iran, with no navy or air force, has control over 25% of the world's oil supply. AND their oil is getting out, making MORE $$$ than before. The regime survives & can destroy the world economy without a deal or a ground war. Trump didn't even plan for Hormuz? LOL. You're coping.

The impatience around the Iran war has been genuinely astounding to see. And it's an indictment of modern American culture. Imagine if the media reaction after the Battle of Midway was to criticize FDR for the loss of a carrier & ask when we'd retake the Philippines. Absurd.

I mean just get an AI to play the game for you at this point. You can nap or go cook some delicious snacks while the game gets completed. How useless.
