Estibaliz Kortazar, a far-left Spanish activist, did what good comrades do, she opened her home to a North African migrant.
Once he got what he wanted, the man started sexually harassing her, insulting her, and beating her. Then he threw her out, changed the locks, and took over the house.
She called the police for help. Their response? “We can’t do anything without a court order.”
Now she’s sleeping at relatives’ houses, seeing a psychologist after a nervous breakdown, and has launched a petition to fast-track the legal process and get her home back.

People need to pay more attention to local and state politics if they want to see national change.

Illinois needs to be looked at very closely. I'm two counties away from Cook County but am in the same congressional district as Cook County. My county is very red. I have zero representation.

@drstonewater I've watched this happen to Will County over the years. It's so sad. They are trying to do the same with Kankakee County but we aren't budging. We are currently suing our local government over the Gotion Plant, a CCP-Linked battery plant Pritzker put in the middle of my town. 😡

I’ve lived in DuPage County and very northern Will County my entire life. I’ve watched my representation drop from minimal to none since the 90’s. And during that same time and shift from right to left the values and crime levels here in the suburbs mimic Cook County. The left says republicans started the redistricting game but that’s 🐴💩and any honest American knows that. Look at Illinois congressional district map.
