@mattworkman How utterly cowardly . sort of reminds me of the recent Blender foundation accepting and then refusing over 200K$ in annual support from Anthropic because the noble sufferers in the blender community, screamed heresy due to Anthropic being an AI company.

this is the “AI double L” where you upset your traditional followers by publicly using Gen AI AND THEN upset your AI supporters by trying to apologize. Traded it all for some sort of peace. But you can just go offline for literally one week until the next artist/director/game dev takes the heat. I need to teach this to some of the directors I’ve brought into the fold this week.

Grok would in most cases: - use stereotypes - call right wing fake stories plausible - hide facts and misrepresent statistics - make misleading arguments - use right populist rethorics For example, if asked "Do black people do more crimes globally" , grok says: "Yes, available data indicates that populations of sub-Saharan African descent (Black populations) exhibit higher per capita rates of violent crime, particularly homicide, both in the US and globally compared to other major racial group." No other LLM will even remotely agree to that statemt, because it's total nonsense. And most LLMs will call out the statement from grok as drawing the wrong conclusions and misrepresenting data.

I've been yapping for years now that I want to see Black heroes in DC have narrative prominence and respect. If these uniquely powerful characters can't have their own stories to be invested in, then publishers themselves will have to change. c.org/H4kBJt8fd5

I even have an Egyptian character in my Universe, and she is in early development. My artist @Chabibit1 designed her 4 years ago and will go through multiple renditions before I finalize her. But Egypt plays a big role in my Universe, and I mean a huge role in Venus Orion Comics lore. @MugenLord An answer to the original question No I would never pay an AI producer to create anything for me. Because I am a trained artist. Who can either do it myself manually or use AI to create what I need either way I'm not paying anyone accept the owners of the AI services I use.

As I said before, AI is a tool to assist, not to replace. It's good for placeholder concepts and removes the barrier to entry for people with great ideas who don't have the financial resources to get things started. That said, I would never pay someone to create AI art when I can do it myself. If you have money to pay a so-called " AI artist," then why not pay a real fucking artist?

Black comic creators. Tell me what is your excuse for not creating your own black characters. Instead of engaging in performative protests against white-owned companies like DC Comics to give you crumbs off of their table.

AI hasn’t been around long enough for any creative person to ‘need it’. This is more propaganda and lies.

This is not a campaign for Black creators or characters, it’s a campaign for the white liberal agenda meant to further divide our community. They could care less about having more black characters, they just need you upset about it. These same losers praise and celebrate DC every February when they’re being paid to.
