Cyprus is deeply grateful to Michelin starred Chef Andreas Mavrommatis, and his team, who brought the cuisine of Cyprus to this week’s informal European Council. Though Chef Mavrommatis passed away last month, his legacy is strong and lives on. From the mountains of his village, Agros, he brought the authentic flavors of Cyprus to the highest tables of Paris, serving Presidents, Prime Ministers, and people from around the world. He was a true Ambassador for all that is good in Cyprus, exemplifies all that Cypriots can achieve, and we are honored to honor his memory with our European family.
