yeah because non-devs using AI as a crutch are now working in dev positions, and those companies are realising their employees are garbage and are looking for better talent. it’s also likely a lot of dinosaur CTO’s are not fully AI pilled so turn their noses up at people who can’t have a verbal discussion about code or architecture without consulting ChatGPT first.

is this mesher number 4? dunno if you’re using greedy meshing but something i learned is that it’s waste of fucking time and over complicates everything. i managed to get minecraft sized worlds running on the web in webxr at 90Hz without them. work chunk generation, flood lighting etc was a billion times faster without greedy algos.

Ran out of mental energy today. I think I need to sit down with an AI tomorrow and write a nice new voxel mesher from scratch. I need a perfect, space preserving vibemap pack.
