Will do a series of photo dumps starting with this one. Had the pleasure of commanding the ARG-8i crew at this Inflatable Lunar and Martian Analog Habitat. We did a series of experiments that would potentially be used for Artemis.

@ArrickZane @suchnerve I lived in MN when they decided to save electricity by moving their traffic lights to LED. The lips on the traffic lights collected snow during the first winter post-install, and every intersection came to a stop. The lack of heat from LED lights couldnโt melt the snow away. ๐

@suchnerve Also unless they have heating elements in those LED headlights the snow will not melt off of them. This is one benefit to incandescent headlights, the warmth of the bulb melts ice before it can build up
