Kenya 🇰🇪 faces the risk of losing its co-hosting rights for AFCON 2027 due to non-payment of the Sh3.9 billion ($30 million) hosting fee to CAF. Kenya has previously encountered similar issues, having been stripped of the 1996 AFCON hosting rights. Uganda 🇺🇬 and Tanzania 🇹🇿 have already paid their shares for the joint “Pamoja” bid. The cycle of tax policy implementation!!! Policy analyst within URA envise different ways on how to increase the government revenue and present to the URA Head of Authority who then forwards them to the Parliament. The Parliament at this point have a right to either approve or disapprove them through different sitting. After approving them ,@URAuganda enforces them Who is to blame for high taxation policies? We should blame the Parliament to a larger extent and to a smaller extent URA because it's part of the chains of proposal and feasibility study of those taxation policies and procedures on how they can drafted eventually implementation. In conclusion we need to pay taxes to keep the country's infrastructures operating but they should be fair for everyone.
