There are apparently a lot of men who are willing to let women die bc they are afraid of a one-in-a-million chance of being accused in a frivolous lawsuit of assault. God help us.

@bumbadum14 People will do this shit and then die randomly at 35. You can’t bet on that obviously and should still plan for living a long life because that’s the most likely outcome but tomorrow is never guaranteed.

FIRE is probably the most soul crushing lifestyle I have ever heard of and it's a terrible indictment on our society. Some of the most competent and intelligent people are structuring themselves to live as minimally as possible so they can check out of society before they're 40. Many of these people are unbelievably hard workers and incredibly intelligent. But they are so disillusioned so all of their potential goes to waste because there's no point to work for more.

@zaracraves I was selected earlier in the year, case was actually kinda interesting. We went to lunch and the defendant accepted a plea deal. Texted the judge afterwards and gave my “review” as a juror and he told me how annoyed he gets when they do that. Wastes everyone’s time and his even.

I am not a Vivek fan but after seeing what the Democrats did in Virginia, it is imperative for Ohioans to vote for Vivek. Regroup and find a better candidate for next time, but don’t hand your state over to the communists out of spite.
Benny Johnson@bennyjohnson

Vivek Ramaswamy Is Dead Wrong on What it Means to Be an American Yesterday, Vivek said you can’t just move to France and become French or Japan and become Japanese or Italy and become Italian etc. He’s right. BUT then… Vivek makes the obscene argument that all 9 billion people on earth can all move to America and magically become “American” No. This ideology is cancer. 1. Being an American is not about how quickly the government can issue you paperwork. It's a heritage. A tradition forged in centuries of sacrifice of our forefathers who settled and built this land. Who built America? The answer is European Christians. For the first 200 years +90% of the American population were Christian settlers from the European continent. We also fought in the wars, built the infrastructure, created the economy and culture. These are facts. To ignore them is intellectual dishonesty and disrespect. What’s worse than ignoring our founding culture is the argument that other cultures are worth preserving and ours is not. 2. Why is Chinese, French, Japanese or German culture distinct and sacred, yet American culture, which has been the dominant force here since the 1600s, is to be discarded and replaced? A Nation is its people. If you took all the Japanese out of Japan, it wouldn’t be Japan anymore. If Japanese people became a vanishing minority in Japan, it wouldn’t be Japan anymore. If America becomes a UN refugee camp of infinite foreign enclaves, each one with their own alien traditions and allegiances and languages, we will atomize American culture. These comments reveal a worldview that America is simply an economic taxation zone to be strip mined of all resources by globalists and foreign fraudsters. I disavow this. To be an effective leader you must first love and treasure the people that you are leading. It’s ok to want to keep America American. 🇺🇸

@AugustusApollo7 @Devon_Eriksen_ A thief seeks to steal and by proxy kill and destroy. If it's no big deal, give away your money one bit at a time. Leave your windows and doors not just unlocked but open. Or choose to fortify that which is yours, and the thief shall suffer natural consequences of actions.

The Mailbox Test, like the breakfast test, is an excellent way to tell who you can allow to wield power in your society. Goes like this: If someone is hurt trying to destroy someone else's stuff in order to take pleasure from their pain, do you sympathize with... The aggressor because he got hurt? Or with the guy who owns the stuff, because he wasn't the aggressor? You can have people in your society who fail the Mailbox Test. That's okay... they can work at hospices, or shelters for orphaned kittens, or something. But you cannot allow them to vote, or otherwise wield political power. Because if you do, they will open the gates of the city to the enemy. I am personally tired of everyone pretending that people who enjoy ruining things for random strangers are just kewt smol beans who are only aggressive because of all the complex socioeconomic factors and lack of resources. They knew someone would be hurt by what they did. They knew that someone had done literally nothing harmful to them. And those two ideas, in combination made them feel pleasure. And they went and did it. That is the sign of a rotten soul. Defending ourselves and our property is not just a right, it's a moral obligation. Otherwise, we just kick the can down the road for someone else to deal with, someone who may not be able to defend herself. I don't care if a vandal breaks his arms trying to destroy my stuff. Because I value my stuff more than a vandal's arms. And the fact that he tried to destroy somebody else's stuff shows that he, too, values his arms less than the opportunity to hurt somebody. We cannot allow such people inside the city, and we cannot give the keys to those who would open the gates for them.

This post is an excellent litmus test for understanding of just war theory. Despite the fact that I can see how effective this would be, I must oppose it because the damage it would do to my enemy (who bashes in my mailbox) would far outweigh the good of saving my mailbox. Its disproportionality is opposed by our duty in charity (and even justice) to watch out even for the good of our enemies. (Yes, by the way, I have had my mailbox bashed in by random vandals.)

@Anarseldain You can be kind and understanding to minor infractions in the law when you live in a homogeneous society. Things don’t spiral out of hand because of shared connections and relationships. You can’t do this in diverse areas.

@Anarseldain This debate is a fascinating one bc of the added dimension of rural vs urban I shared this on FB and my rural friends and family mostly frowned upon this bc it was concealed. That’s bc the perpetrator they think of is just a dumb teen whose parents they likely went to school with

The fact that someone is an aggressor justifies a disproportionate use of force against them, on account of the nature of their act, which is itself an escalation. 90% of internet “Christian morality” is just people who want martyrdom and can’t attain it. Masochism, all. If someone is aggressing against you by destroying your mailbox for absolutely no reason, then you would be morally justified using some kind of device which would total their car beyond all use, and which may cause permanent, life-changing injury, simply by virtue of the fact that you are the innocent party. In discussions of maintaining law in a society which is at existential threat, at every moment of every day, mentions of “morality” are quaint at best, and we all know it. “Only between equals in power do rights enter into the discussion,” “peace goes unmolested only for fear of strength,” and so on. But let us now entertain the moral quandary for a moment. The matter should be *obvious* even on a philosophical level: by virtue of the fact that you are an innocent victim, the “immoral” action taken against you is far more severe than whatever “moral” infringement the act itself carries. Talking about “justice” requires that the additional, or aggravating “evil” of harm to an innocent party receives additional (and steep) retribution. You are absolutely justified to use, for example, hidden spikes, to flatten the tires of someone who runs over a Trump sign. You would in fact be justified to use a land mine to do so, provided that you could be certain that it wouldn’t kill some neighbourhood kid by accident – because they are not only extra evil for being a libtard (and make no mistake, libtards are genuinely evil people), but because they are aggressing against the innocent, even if in a minor way. Seeing as mailboxes are fundamental utilities that could meaningfully impact the course of your life, I’m guessing you can estimate my view. And, in addition, severer the retribution, the more wholly you fulfill your moral duty to prevent future victims. If someone breaks into your house with a baseball bat and threatens to break your legs, you are unequivocally “morally” justified in escalating to immediate and unhesitating use of lethal force. In fact, that would be the case if the person simply threatened to punch you, because their aggressing against you, and infringing on your ability to be a sovereign within your own home, is such a heinous act unto itself. In all of these cases, restricting yourself and showing mercy is an additional charity beyond what is owed. You could even praise someone for doing so (though in the majority of cases it is not in fact an extension of charity, but merely a manifestation of cowardice, and therefore deserves rebuke rather than commendation), but you are in fact acting “immorally” by trying to impose it on them as a duty, given that it would not otherwise be, and they have no “moral” imperative to do so. It would be akin to demanding that, on top of tithing, a man charitably donates an extra 10% of his income to, say, the Boy Scouts; an act which, though commendable (if the Boy Scouts hadn’t become libtarded), is far beyond his duty, and is an unreasonable act of giving out of true generosity, and therefore cannot be “morally” made mandatory. You are now not only a civilisation-destroying force, a rot, in your disregard for human and societal rights, all out of a need to serve your own masochism, but also a tyrant. But, if we’re to be honest, you’re just virtue-signaling and wish that you could paint yourself as a righteous victim. It’s a martyrdom-desire complex rather than a martyrdom complex. By the way, Medieval Christians executed so many people for petty thievery that it removed 1% of each generation from the gene pool and created prosperous societies of future-consequence-understanders the likes of which had not been seen since the rigorous breeding and eugenics of the ancient Hellenes. You’re just a coward.

@420BSR @jahzbf70554 @Devon_Eriksen_ I’ll add, however, that the homeowner in the OG post should not face any repercussions if someone gets hurt. If they went out of their way to put concrete in their mailbox they’ve probably dealt w it smashed multiple times & tried other methods. No one just does this for fun.

@sandersism @Devon_Eriksen_ I have actually live in the country and known people who get their mailbox smashed and mailbox smashers. It’s always a stupid teenager and teens can’t fully comprehend the consequences of their actions. Hence why they speed all the time and do other stupid shit.

@AugustusApollo7 @Devon_Eriksen_ I would argue that concealing it makes it a deterrent that’s useful in society. If you don’t know which mailbox might break your arm, you don’t hit any of them.

@AugustusApollo7 @Devon_Eriksen_ Concealing it deters future vandals from hitting other people's mailboxes, because the fact they can't discriminate between secure and insecure targets creates risk for hitting ANY mailbox.

@AugustusApollo7 @Devon_Eriksen_ You break into guy's home. He didn't advertise "have guns" on his door. You get shot because you're breaking into a home with implied threat to livelihood - be whatever form that takes. You're mad because he didn't warn you he had guns. You sound j€w-coded.

@420BSR @jahzbf70554 @Devon_Eriksen_ They have families and jobs and aren’t in jail. Kids also get peer pressured into stupid shit all the time. The punishment has to fix the crime, lest we become like shithole non-White countries that cut off hands for petty theft.

@AugustusApollo7 @jahzbf70554 @Devon_Eriksen_ So it was a small minority of fuckwits, as I explained. And the number would have been zero, not 3-5, if broken arms were routinely dispensed for such antisocial acts. And I don't believe that they are "relatively fine", whatever that means. They could be abusive for all you know

@Citizen_Alpha @Devon_Eriksen_ It’s cheaper for society to pay for a mailbox than tens of thousands in medical expenses and lost wages. All healthcare costs are socialized, if they are insured it’s by other members and if they aren’t and default that loss is covered by everyone who does pay.
