The Automated Edge
@Automated_Edge
I like AI. I also like building things, unsolicited opinions, and figuring life out in public. Occasionally talk about other things too.

Having played high school football and college football, this is a tad short sighted. I think there is a lot to be said that the lessons and friendships from playing is something I would never trade, but who’s to say you can’t get those from sports and athletics that don’t carry injury risk.
English

@ProFootballTalk Obviously not true but CTE is way overblown amongst the generational population. I hear people say they won’t let their kids play high school football because of it lmao. The lifelong lessons and friendships you’ll build far far outweigh the risk of getting CTE at that level

OpenClaw: 135K exposed instances, 50K vulnerable to RCE, 12% of community skills flagged as malicious.
Claude Code Channels (just dropped): 3-layer security model, allowlist auth, no open ports, vetted plugins only.
Same concept — message your AI agent from your phone. Very different risk profile for your data.

Bloomberg charges $25K/yr. Perplexity charges $20/mo. While the data isn’t exactly on the same level and real time as Bloomberg, AI is catching up. It isn't a question of if, it's when AI is good enough for institutions to find alternatives to Bloomberg to cut overhead costs. #AI #Finance #Bloomberg

Finance types worship at the altar of the Bloomberg terminal. So when AI evangelists recently declared it ”cooked,” it was war. on.wsj.com/4byzDuR

Bezos raising $100B to buy old manufacturing companies and automate them with AI. That’s crazy. He's buying entire industries and replacing the workforce with AI. This is the part nobody's ready for. AI isn't just changing tech. It's coming for the factories not just white collar workers.

@felixrieseberg The pace you guys are shipping at right now is insane. Projects, Cowork, dispatch, shared memory, etc. feels like a new feature/ release every day this few weeks. Whatever is happening internally over there, keep doing it.

@Quozzle_ @dickiebush Yes. This. You can have money in the bank but be anxious and worrying. That isn’t wealth that is poverty

@doomersaredumb @NavalismHQ lol that meme is hysterical and on point. Asking an AI if AI is dangerous and then using the answer as evidence is peak 2026 politics. You could also ask Claude if the sky is green and it would write you a compelling 5-paragraph essay on why.
English

Unpopular opinion: the AI space is creating more anxiety than productivity for most people. Everyone's so busy keeping up with new releases that they never actually learn to use anything. You don't need to know every tool. You need to know the ones that solve YOUR problems. Take it one step at a time. That's it. #AI #Claude #OpenAI

@testingcatalog This makes way more sense when you realize World just launched AgentKit, human verification for AI agents. The super app is just the front door. Could see it as one big ecosystem but there have been no rumors on the timing of this super app

Sam Altman will be co-hosting a Lift Off event from World on April 17th.
Are we about to see any hints of World integration amid rumors about an OpenAI Super App?

I spoke to Anthropic’s AI agent Claude about AI collecting massive amounts of personal data and how that information is being used to violate our privacy rights. What an AI agent says about the dangers of AI is shocking and should wake us up.

Very excited to try this out! Hopefully this can democratize vibe coding even more for non-tech users, especially with the one click database support. The server side and backend integration is what discourages most non-tech vibe coders from continuing. This seems like a big step in the right direction.
English

Introducing the all new vibe coding experience in @GoogleAIStudio, feating:
- One click database support
- Sign in with Google support
- A new coding agent powered by Antigravity
- Multiplayer + backend app support
and so much more coming soon!

@DanielPink Agreed. Some of my best ideas come from boredom and silence, not from working. We need to stop treating boredom like a problem to fix.

Claude is better at working with Excel and PowerPoint than Microsoft's own Copilot. Let that sink in. Microsoft owns 49% of OpenAI, built Copilot into every Office app, and it still gets outperformed by a competitor that just writes the file from scratch using Python. The difference? Copilot is buried under 30 years of legacy code, enterprise guardrails, and corporate compliance layers. Claude has none of that. It just builds what you ask for. Owning the platform doesn't mean you win. Sometimes being the outsider with no constraints is the advantage.

I needed to hear this. I have a bad habit of doing 10 things at 50% instead of 1 thing at 100%. Feels productive in the moment but nothing actually ships. The hardest part isn't doing the work - it's choosing which work to ignore. The peace of mind that comes from clear focus is an underrated superpower. Less noise, better output, and you actually sleep at night.

@readswithravi One of my favorite books. Discipline is key to everything good in life. Discipline = Freedom and is not restrictive. It is the key to your dream life.

What excites me is agents talking to other agents/ sub agents across services more intuitively. That's what I think ultimately replaces phones as we know it. Right now you're agents need a lot of middlemen and to be prompted to do things and manual work to setup infrastructure through setting up cronjobs, skills etc to do things like checking email, opening calendar, tracking things and doing daily tasks, moving info between apps etc. In a year or two I think agents will handle all of that and top of that, these agents can communicate to each other, understand each other and learn your goals, needs, wants, desires etc and curate tasks and suggestions for you. I am interested in builders that are working on this.
English

I'm obsessed with agent-native products.
I want to see more opinionated builders build products and services for agents, not for humans.
Who should I be watching? (here.now and @agentmail are great examples)

1 in 6 NFL players go bankrupt within 12 years of retiring. These guys make millions and still end up broke. It's not an income problem, it's a financial literacy problem. The fact that JPMorgan needs to create a whole council just to teach athletes how to not lose their money says everything about how badly our education system fails at personal finance. This should be a required class in every high school, not just high profile athletes. Good on Tom and these Athletes for raising awareness.
