We're at the stage where the Conservative Party, who voted against same sex marriage, is calling the person who voted for same sex marriage & adoption an Islamic extremist. I live in a clown country.

@AverageTyke No, since a majority of Labour MPs voted for it, then Labour voted for it. It was introduced because Lib Dems demanded it as part of the coalition government.

@AntacsB And I suppose because 22 Labour MPs voted against the Act that they’re opposed to it too? Fact of the matter is mate, the Act was introduced under a Conservative government, and without the Conservatives the bill wouldn’t have passed.

I really don’t understand why people decide they HAVE to be in a political party. Like I’ve seen people resigning their membership (on all sides) and moving to the other side instantaneously, surely your original views don’t just magically change?
